What To Expect
Delphi Ancient Town
Pick up from your hotel early in the morning and meeting with the rest clients of the small group tour. Drive through the fertile plain of Beotia, crossing the towns of Thebes - connected with the tragedy of King Oedipus and the city of Levadia and enjoy a rest stop. You will arrive at ancient Delphi archeological site- known in ancient times as the navel of the world- the "Omphalos", whose prestige extended far beyond the boundaries of the Hellenic World. You will meet with your official guide and start your tour. Pass by Castalia Spring, visit at the archaeological site and view the monument of the Argive Kings, the treasury of the Athenians, the Athenian Stoa, the Polygonal Wall, the monument of Platea and the Temple of Apollo famous for its oracle
Delphi Archaeological Museum
You will visit Delphi museum, with spectacular exhibits including the frieze of the Treasury of the Sifnians, the Naxian Sphinx, the Statue of Antinoos, the famous bronze Charioteer, and many other artifacts.

4.00Small group tour out to Delphi and museum. Stopped for a quick bathroom break on the way. Nice scenery along the way.. Delphi was amazing with our tour guide leading us through. Stopped for lunch. Overall as nice day.

5.00Really enjoyed this tour! Comfortable transport van, great guide (Danai), our site guide (Georgia) was really thorough so I didn’t feel I missed out on anything in the museum or at the archeological site. The optional restaurant we were taken to after was also excellent! Unique local dishes and great views. Had a great day and wouldn’t change anything.

5.00Athens and Salvador picked us up at our hotel - very convenient. We drove 1.5 hours and visited a rest stop for restrooms and drinks/snacks. This broke up the trip nicely. We then stopped at the picturesque town of Arachova before making our way to Delphi. Athena was a great guide who kept up pleasant conversation and taught us all the way to Delphi. We transitioned to an expert guide at the museum, who took us around the pleasantly small museum. Then we began our hike around the archeological site. We were then given 45 minutes on our own to take photos or just relax. Adventurous folks made their way up to the Stadium, while others went up so far as the theater area (which gives great views and photo backdrops). Met back with Athena who took us back to Aravhova for an insanely delicious and reasonably priced meal with mountain views. On the ride back to Athens, most folks caught a nap. Great day! My family liked this more than the Acropolis because you are so close to the archeological sites.

5.00Must see tour from Athens, we had a few auto transport issues but they handled it very well. The archeological site is incredible and full of history, they take you to a wonderful resteraunt after visiting the temple of Apollo ruins.
