Scotch whisky is ingrained within Scottish culture.
The ancient Scots used it to heal common ailments and keep warm throughout the winter. And now, Scottish whisky exports make up one quarter of the UK’s international food and drink trade.
It’s a fascinating part of Scottish heritage, and on this tour, you learn about it at two distinct distilleries. You visit Glengoyne, a tiny, quaint distillery located at the foot of a delightful hill. And you explore Deanston distillery, a large distillery with a fascinating industrial past.
What’s more is you blend these delicious flavours with a visit to one of the most famous lochs in the whole of Scotland at the Loch Lomond National Park.
So take this tour, sample a delectable range of whiskies, and learn about Scotland’s national drink.

Great day with knowledgeable guide. Got to try some very good single malt whiskey and see the distilling process first hand. Some really nice scenery on the drive

We went with Rabbies from Edinburgh to the Glengoyne Distillery and the Deanston Distillery. We had a fantastic day. Craig, our guide for the day, brilliantly connected the trips with his jokes and also knowledge about the areas. Halfway through the day, a spot was reserved for lunch, a beautiful location with a lovely environment. It was very interesting to see how the distilleries differed from each other; you could notice it in everything. For us, it was a bit pricey, but to be brief: it was more than worth the money. Definitely a recommendation!

Amazing day! A lot of fun, and great experience overall. 5 out 5 for us. We loved the driver Criag as well. He was very knowledgeable without being annoying.

A special shout-out to Alex Mcleer, our driver and guide, whose engaging commentary and warm personality made the journey from Edinburgh to the distilleries both informative and entertaining. The ride was never dull! We especially enjoyed the Glengoyne distillery tour for its depth and charm, though the Deanston experience didn’t quite meet our expectations. Overall, a memorable and well-organized trip.

So lovely luck, stopped at 3 bridges for a little break then on to Glengoyne distillery, very good luck, everything was perfect. The staff yes everything, then on to a lunch place very good and quick service, then to distillery no 2 it was good but went a little too fast at the tasting and he who talked was a little too fast in the talk, difficult to keep up.

We had such a lovely time on this tour. Keith, our tour guide, was a wealth of knowledge and kind as could be. Our guide at Glengoyne was a very informative fellow from Spain. Excellent tour there and a beautiful place! Our guide at Deanston was Brian, who show us all such a great time. Again, such a nice learning experience. Many thanks for making our trip to Scotland so much fun!
