  Given the reviews I was expecting a great tour, but it was okay… Nothing to complain about but not one I’ll remember. The mini bus was old and the air conditioning wasn’t efficient. The stop at the ‘museum’ was actually a sales pitch in a ridiculously expensive shop. We also spent the first 45 mins of the tour going round hotels picking up other guests.

  We were disappointed with this tour for the following reasons:- We had an early breakfast ready for pickup at 9am. but we weren’t picked up until 9.45. We were taken to the Dubai frame in a very old minibus with inefficient air conditioning and then transferred to a coach which was in equally poor condition and wasn’t suitable for the number of people on the tour. Pull down seats had to be used in the aisles. There was too much travelling time compared to time at the sights and we were an hour late arriving back at the hotel. The guide specified 10 minutes at each stop but people were late back , sometimes keeping the driver waiting for 20 minutes. The commentary given by the English speaking guide was very limited and often difficult to hear. We only had a day in Dubai and were disappointed that we wasted out time on this tour.

  Amin and driver were very good - Amin was knowledgeable and helpful. City tour was interesting but we were a little disappointed that we could not go inside the mosque just to view (not for a tour) and would have liked some time on tour to wander around souk. Time spent at beach near Burj Al Arab was wasted and could be used for more time at the souk.

  Our tour guide, Mr. Khalid was fantastic! We had an excellent visit to the royal palace where we were able to take several pictures. The Museum was beautiful and had a lot of cultural hand-made pieces that we wanted to take home to our families. We visited a mosque in Old Dubai which was closed to the public but was a nice background for pictures. Shopping was fun and interactive with the store owners. Overall, it was a great experience and would recommend to anyone who wants to see the old and new areas of Dubai during an inexpensive half day tour.

  We can definitely recommend this tour. After our pick up at the hotel, we were driven to a lot of interesting points and we learned much about the city, their inhabitants and the arabic cultur. Thank you Will!
