Desert Safari Dubai

The safari through the deserts of Dubai lets you experience the almost forgotten traditions of Emirati Arabs of the past centuries with some heart-thumping dune bashing action to go on top of it. Do all the things that you cannot do anywhere else. Feast on a sumptuous intercontinental barbecue dinner in a traditional Arabic Bedouin camp, all the while watching folk dance performances. What To Expect

This tour departs in the afternoon across the desert of Dubai with several photo-stops during an exciting dune drive to the first destination a camel farm. The drive continues across the desert. We stop to watch the beautiful sunset before reaching our campsite where you have the opportunity to do a camel ride, sand boarding and try out a henna design on hand or feet. After working up an appetite enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner and shisha (the famous Arabic water pipe). Before returning to Dubai/Sharjah watch our belly dancer performing her show around the campfire by starlight.

The adrenalin rush from dune bashing in the 4x4 ride was exciting as described in the overview of the excursion. It did not disappoint. What was disappointing was the quality of the food at the BBQ, was not even close to being delicious. Thankfully we had a hospitable driver that made the experience just a little more bearable.
