We flew with Fly Dubai from Dubai International Airport. Terrible airport and overall experience. Order, logic, and safety are at zero. 1. First, we spent about half an hour driving around the airport on a bus, stuck in traffic among other buses. 2. Then we sat on the plane for 4 hours without taking off because of a cooling issue. They didn’t let us out, and what could be better than sitting in Dubai’s midday heat on the tarmac in a plane without air conditioning? 3. When the police finally arrived, they let us out, but instead of moving us to a working plane nearby, they drove us all the way back to the terminal again. We had to go through security, document checks, and then ride another half hour to a different plane. When you ask airport security “what’s going on and how should we understand this,” everyone suddenly stops understanding English, even though they spoke it perfectly a minute earlier. 4. Upon arrival, the suitcase was broken open, the lock destroyed, and the contents tossed around. No inspection notice inside, of course. There were no liquids or prohibited items inside.. just clothes, nothing worth taking. The airport’s response is standard: “We don’t know, we didn’t see anything, the inspection found nothing.” Yet they’re willing to compensate for the suitcase, clearly understanding it’s their fault, just not admitting it officially. So wrap your luggage as tightly as possible and never pack cash, documents, or anything valuable in checked baggage. Incidents like this happen at this airport all the time, and it seems to be getting worse every month. A shame for such a place, even though the shops, fountains, and scale are indeed impressive.. that can’t be denied. Wishing everyone safe travels! :)

The pass allowed to go to any of the 3 main lounges - Marhaba, Ahlan and Plaza Premium - that are there on different levels at T3. I chose the Ahlan lounge at A1 which turned out to be a smaller lounge but it has all the required amenities. The staff is attentive and helpful, the food options seemed limited but were good enough. The shower was clean and a towel and soap were provided. It wasn't too crowded but the limited space gives that impression. Overall it was a good experience and I'd like to visit again.

The viator experience was very convoluted - needed about a dozen emails to sort it. Package says it covers T1/2/3 but the paperwork doesn’t match. Lots of going back and fourth. Frankly it was a chore. At the airport the Ahlan Lounge is like a cafe. Food was not on when I arrived as theres a one hour gap between breakfast and lunch. As soon as lunch went out, i went up snd half of it was freezing cold. Really poor. Staff were nice. But even getting into the lounge took phone calls and all sorts. Honestly - its about as far from a fist class experience as I could imagine. It gets three stars as the staff were nice. But wouldn’t bother again.

Good if you like spicey food. Showers were hot but I didn't feel very comfortable. Service was excellent though. The staff couldn't have been more helpful

The first impression of the lounge was fantastic: it was incredibly easy to find and felt like a truly pleasant, welcoming space. They certainly delivered on hospitality, offering an abundance of food and beverages that made 4-hour waiting a breeze. It's clearly a great spot for families waiting for their next flight. However, we did encounter one major disappointment. Our main reason for choosing this lounge was to be able to use a shower between flights. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we found that the next available shower appointments were scheduled at the exact same time as our boarding call—a missed opportunity for some much-needed refreshment! Despite the slight hiccup with the facilities, the entire experience was redeemed by the excellent staff. Mr. Min was particularly attentive, assisting us all throughout our stay. His level of service made the visit feel personalized and smooth. Overall, a solid lounge with great amenities and superb staff, but if you're counting on a shower, call ahead!

It was adequate. Unfortunately all armchairs and couches within the lounge were taken. Couches taken up by people being allowed to sleep on them horizontally. Got seating in hotel corridor.

We enjoyed the lounge however there is no option to actually book a time for a shower when buying the voucher. . There was not enough time for me to shower and only time for my husband to have a quick shower. He nearly didn’t get that as apparently you need to prebook a time for that. Disappointing.

Central location in Comcourse B Dubai T3. Friendly, attentive, helpful staff. I utilised the shower made available in the lounge pass I purchased. Highly recommended

The lounge was not very well designed and far too busy. Clearly catering for many Indian travellers as hot food was mainly curry.
