Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
It is highly recommended that you eat 2-3 hours before the safari trip to avoid sickness during the dune bashing.
We highly recommend having international travel insurance, as self-driving activities carry inherent risks that may lead to serious injury. Coverage for such incidents is typically provided only through your personal insurance.
The quad biking segment is solely the participant's responsibility. Any damage, injuries sustained or items lost during the quad tour are not covered by insurance.
All desert safari drivers are well trained and licensed for safari drives. The 4WD vehicles are fully insured and well equipped with all necessary safety features, such as roll bars, seat belts, government trackers, GPS, GMS, and a First Aid box
OceanAir Travels shall not be responsible for any kind of loss, accident, sickness or injury.
Please wear sports shoes for safe sand boarding.
Casual, loose fitting clothing is recommended in the summer, along with a jacket in the winter
Please note that if your skin is sensitive to henna, it is advised not to do it.
Entertainment activities:- As per UAE law during the holy month of Ramadan and other religious holidays you can watch Tanoura and Fire shows only in our desert camps (Al Khayma) as there will be some restrictions for Ladies Khaliji Dance.
The 11:30 AM Timing slot comes with a Lunch buffet, and it doesn't include the Fire show since it's during the day timing
Pickup will be within 45min prior to your selected departure time. Please be ready at the hotel lobby on time.
Pick-up timing is subject to change due to the emerging summer heat: 1 hour earlier in the morning and 1 hour later in the afternoon. A notification shall be sent in advance in the case of any change.
Everything listed in the Inclusions is part of the tour and is covered in the price. Quad biking is available if the option is selected.
By UAE law, pregnant ladies, anyone with back or neck pain, heart problems or other serious medical complaints and infants (under 3 years old) are not allowed during the dune bashing activity by car. (If this conditions are applicable to you, please contact our Consultant to customize your tour)

What To Expect
Dubai
You will be picked up from your hotel or selected location by your tour guide. Then, drive to the Dubai desert about 45 minutes you will arrive at the destination. Relax in the restrooms there, making use of bathroom facilities... you may opt for a short Quad Bike ride as the 4x4 vehicles get ready for off-road desert drive.
After a short break, Time for adventures... our activities start with desert dune bashing... after 40-45 minutes of red dunes ride, go sand surfing (sandboarding) down the dunes. We will photograph these nice moments for you. Next, stop at the Red Dunes desert and enjoy a camel ride in the open desert. Later, relax in air-conditioned comfort as you enjoy soft drinks, water, Arabic tea or coffee with dates before getting dropped back at your hotel in Dubai.

4.00We've had a great time, although the timeslot we booked was quite tied. Our guide Muhammed Sajid Khan Swati was great and made sure we had a great time. He tempered the Dune Bashing a bit because there was a small kid in the car, which was understandable and good but also a bit of a pity for the rest of us. But eventhough it was great!!! Would do it again in a heartbeat!

We booked this “Premium Safari” package with high expectations, especially because it advertised dune bashing, premium food, and a supposedly elevated desert experience. What we actually got was one of the most disappointing tours I’ve ever taken in Dubai — and I’ve lived here for years and been on multiple desert safaris. This was by far the worst. First and worst of all: there was no dune bashing. Despite the package boldly selling a 30–45 minute dune-bashing session, what we got was nothing more than basic desert driving. No thrill, no excitement, no adrenaline — absolutely none of what was promised. The main reason we selected this package was completely missing, and it felt like a blatant misrepresentation. The food was equally disappointing. The marketing goes on and on about buffet options, BBQ, Michelin Star restaurant, etc., but in reality the food was mediocre at best. When we asked for a refill of the BBQ, we were given one refill — and even that was just a single type of kebab. This is supposed to be “premium”? The whole dining experience felt restricted, stingy, and far from what was advertised. The only way I can describe this tour is: a complete letdown from start to finish. Everything sounds amazing on paper, but almost none of it lives up to the hype. If this had been my first desert safari ever, maybe I wouldn’t have known the difference — but having done many safaris in Dubai over the years, I can confidently say this was the most underwhelming and poorly delivered one of all. I regret choosing this package and would not recommend it to anyone expecting a real desert safari experience. Save your money and go with a company that actually delivers what they promise.

5.00Hashim was an absolute star! The trip was so well organised from start to finish. We went on the afternoon trip, which was quieter with no fire show or stargazing, but meant there were no queues at the camp. The camel ride was decent, about 5 mins, plus feeding the young camels with some great photos from the staff. When we said we couldn't do the extreme dune bashing, Hashim took us on a gentler ride which was good. Sandboarding was really fun. Hashim had all the best angles for photos! The henna was so pretty as well. I had no cash so couldn't tip! Would highly recommend!

5.00We did the Dubai Red Dunes Desert Safari today with the Zeeshan and it was simply brutal! The experience was amazing from start to finish — the dunes, the Quad bike, the sunset and the whole campground environment were unforgettable. Zeeshan was super friendly, attentive and made sure everything went perfectly. I highly recommend this experience
10/10 trip ! One to remember!

5.00The tour was incredibly well organized with clear instructions from the start. We were picked up right from our hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned 4x4 (with bottled water provided) and driven out to the desert for our first activity — quad biking. We spent around 15–20 minutes riding through the dunes before stopping for some fun sandboarding, then headed back on a 15 minute ride for the next part of the adventure. After a scenic 40-minute drive, we arrived at an excellent desert camp. There, we enjoyed a short camel ride, a chance to take photos with a falcon, and some refreshing tea, coffee, and cold drinks. As evening fell, live music accompanied a delicious buffet-style dinner with a great selection of desserts. The entertainment was top-notch, featuring a horse show, camel show, and an impressive fire performance. A special thanks to Sultan of Ocean Air, who was absolutely brilliant – friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help.
