5.00We were a group of 7 and we had one of the most memorable trips with Michael. He was punctual, polite and helpful. He addressed all our requests and questions. It was a 12 hour tour, it's amazing to see how Micheal managed to do everything so perfectly. We saw breathtaking views, scenic towns and some gorgeous highland cattle and deers along the way. We will definitely look forward to have another trip booked soon. Thank you Hopscotch for everything!

5.00We decided last minute to change from a group tour to a private tour. With a bit of google and online forum searching, we found Hopscotch. It can be scary to spend money for a private tour in another country and just hope it turns out okay. From the start, I was so impressed with Hopscotch. Their communication was so fast, friendly, and thorough. I wish all companies operated with such efficiency. We ended up scheduling two day tours out of Edinburgh. Loch Ness area with Fraser, and Sterling/Fife with Michael. Both trips were expertly tailored to our needs. The guides showed up on time, so polite, knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly. I can’t say enough good things about how our tours went and how wonderful the guides were. Just so special. No regrets and would highly recommend and do again.

5.00I cannot say enough about these tours and our guide Michael. He was very knowledgeable, prompt, and knew a ton of fun Scottish trivia and information. He made the entire trip even more enjoyable because of his personality and engagement. He showed us so much more than Loch Ness during our trip and I highly recommend this company. 5.00Every penny worth, and Barney is easily one of the top-notch guides of Edinburgh. Posseses a wealth of knowledge and made our journey an experience to remember. On another note, if you want to understand Edinburgh and Scotland, then you must drive through it to appreciate the true elegance and beauty of the country itself. Overall 10 on 10.

5.00Our trip with Michael was wonderful! I can't recommend him enough, he is kind, patient and has an amazing knowledge of not only Scottish history, but any topic we were interested in. He guided us through the beautiful Highlands to Loch Ness, even spontaneously stopping at a whisky distillery because my father really wanted to visit one. Even though he just found out that morning, he also got us back to Edinburgh earlier than planned because we had a show that evening that we really wanted to attend. All in all it was a lovely trip, a perfect combination between nature, history and culture. Thank you so much and hope to see you one day again!

5.00We spent 3 days touring the Scottish Highlands with Michael and were absolutely delighted with the entire trip. Michael is professional, courteous and very knowledgeable, advising us on our options for places which would be interesting and beautiful. We wouldn't have found 1/10 th of the places that Michael knew about and expertly took us to. He is an expert driver and we were transported in complete comfort. Our daily itineraries were diverse and very rewarding, ranging from light hikes to walking tours of local villages, a stop at a Whiskey distillery and more. We really couldn't be more pleased with our experience and highly recommend Michael and Hop Scoth to anyone looking to experience Scotland in an immersive and totally entertaining way.
