We are going to visit this museum a little by chance wanting to go to the Manneken worse .We absolutely do not regret our approach because were very well received with a very educational explanation. The museum is extremely good because it allows us to navigate with an audio guide and make games to better educate ourselves on the history and the making of the fries according to the times and in the world.Clou of the show a fries cone to each offered at the end of the route.Really excellent in any point of view.A very good time(allow about 2 hours)I recommend.

Very interesting visit to learn more about potatoes and fries. This concludes with a french fries tasting offered by the very friendly Diamond where you choose your second cooking and sauce to taste excellent Belgian fries.

Overcrowded tourist trap with rude staff that mock customers and talk down to them. Made the visit unpleasant, regret going.

I didn't think there could be a place so rich in history and dedicated...to the potato! Such a variety of news and recipes that leaves you stunned. Of course, you can't stay dry-mouthed: a full-bodied taste is mandatory! Wonder for the palate.

Maybe also 5 bullets because we had not very high expectations, but nevertheless informative and funny. Our teenage kids were for the whole hour interested and completed the audiotour, which was the proof/pudding for me. The audiotour is indeed interesting, not too long, not too short, even if a small part only seems useful to win next pub quiz. At the end you get a small tote of “friet” with a choice of 5 or 6 traditional sauces, and that tasted remarkably well. Small remark: we have now learned that “friet” has to have a distinctive length, but the “friet” they made didn’t pass that test. Anyway, well worth the 12/14 euro (rate 2025), especially if you compare with the certain tourist traps that Brussels offers in the surrounding area.
