wonderful experience with Getaways Greece. Excellent communication between tour company, tour guide and ourselves. Debbie our tour guide and Patti, our museum guide were very knowledgeable, and articulate. Patti & Debbi were entertaining and funny with stories behind every exhibit. Our small group consisted of ten people, Debbi had a small quiz on the bus which was fun and made for a very entertaining trip from start to finish. Transportation was very comfortable and spacious. Every stop on the tour was worth it. Nafplio was especially breath taking. Overall, great tour, great price and great pace. highly recommend. (mother/daughter trip 10/8/2025).

Athena was an excellent guide. Lots of knowledge to digest, but also very visual. Highly recommend Mycenae, lunch at Nafplio, Epidaurus.

Fantastic day trip. Long day but very worth it. Our tour guide Debby was wonderful. Entertaining, friendly and informative. Our driver was also great. We saw several amazing places. I loved Epidaurus the most. It was spectacular. Thanks for a great day 😁

Often the amount of time at a stop was insufficient, especially the stop for lunch. The local guides were knowledgeable but sometimes went into more detail than needed. The minibus was comfortable and the tour leader and driver were competent.

This was an experience not to be missed. Every aspect of it was perfect, even getting rained on in Mycenae. It was magical…sunbeams breaking through the clouds and, of course, a rainbow in the most beautiful setting I may have ever seen. George was our guide that day, and we just can’t say enough wonderful things about him. His English is perfect and his knowledge is extensive. We crammed so much into the day, and while we could have happily spent more time in each location, we didn’t feel too rushed as we have with some other tours. Perfection!

This was a great tour. I wanted to go to Epidaurus to see the theatre however the site contains so much more. So interesting and a great local guide. We are went to the archeological site of Mycenae - also interesting but so different to Epidaurus - to see what may have been the home of Agamemnon. Thesbina and Alexander looked after our small group for the day. Lovely people, very friendly and professional. A full day tour but so worth it. Thank you Thesbina and Alexander!
