Our team Julia, Douk and Dimitris, three enthusiastic foodies, will guide you through a gastronomical experience!

Taste the most local food in Athens. Skip tourist traps and discover local bites of the greek culture. More than 16 traditional, freshly cooked tastings. We will be walking in the heart of Athens, where locals shop for the daily meal.

We will introduce you to vendors of our favorite shops, share traditional breakfast delicacies, smell and learn about herbs and spices, have seated lunch, cheese tasting and dessert in a traditional restaurant.

During the walk, you'll meet our old friends in the oldest vegetable, fish and meat market of Athens.

Get local insight into recipes, tips for Athens, the islands and the culinary traditions.

Join us in a “Mediterranean Diet” food tour and discover the secrets of Greek food.

One of the best activities we did in Athens: this interesting and well presented small group walking tour of shops, markets, cafes and a restaurant, sampling delicious Greek foods, spices and ingredients. Our guide, Douk, was knowledgeable and personable about his passion — Greek cuisine. All in all, a great experience!

This was one of the best food tours I have ever experienced & I love to do a food tour any time I visit a new country. Our guide was wonderful & shared insightful knowledge. We had 5 stops with sweet & savory samples including cheese meat pies & a dessert pie, honey, a full gyro, olive oil & balsamic with bread paired with wine. Our last stop was a wonderful full Greek dinner with drinks included & our guide demonstrated the making of tzatziki sauce to go with our meal. The size of the samples & the amount of food provided will not leave you hungry. It was so good.

I used Delicious Athens for my tour groups and they were excellent. It is a family-run business and they work as a professional team who are very knowledgeable. The only thing I could say is that there is too much food, so don't eat before you do the tour. Definitely my go-to for food tours in Athens.

Dimitri was fantastic, he has so much knowledge of Athens, a bit of history and of course Greek food! We thoroughly enjoyed our time together and all the yummy foods we shared. There was SO MUCH FOOD! You won’t walk away hungry from this food tour!

Wonderful experience! Learned a lot and tasted some wonderful food. We felt welcome and our tour guide was friendly and answered all our questions. We purchased some nice food items to take home and went back the next day for more!!

We really enjoyed this experience! Our host was friendly, informative, knowledgeable and funny. We tasted many different foods and ended with a lunch/dinner in a top floor room of a restaurant with a view of the Parthenon. Don’t eat before you go!!! There is so much food even at the first stop!
