We didn't read the instructions well and showed up at the museum instead of the meeting point. They were amazing about calling us and finding us. I was exhausted and not using my brain when I arranged this tour. I thought I was buying tickets to the museum, but I'm so glad I got the tour. It was very informative and well done. Highly recommend.

I booked this tour last minute. I tried another site and they were completely booked and was so glad to find this tour that I was prepared for it to just be so-so but it was FANTASTIC. The guide was so knowledgeable and such a good story teller that he made the tour a 12/10! The pictures I'm attaching is my guide (wish I remembered his name) and in these photos, he's explaining that Michelangelo carved a heart-shape as the pupil in David's eye, not to be cute, but to be able to see the detail from several hundred feet in the air. This statue was originally intended to for the 400' tall roofline of the Florence Cathedral, but after it was completed, a committee decided to place it in the more prominent location outside the Palazzo Vecchio in the Piazza della Signoria. The committee felt the statue was too beautiful and large to be hidden on the cathedral's roof and should be a public symbol for the city.

Entertaining guided tour and interestingly presented. We could still look at the artworks ourselves later, which is not very interesting without a guide.

It's a bit complicated logistics... in one direction you get a sticker so that in another direction you get the ticket, it's a bit weird and unfortunate... inside the museum all cool.

I really enjoyed this tour! the guide was engaging and shared so many fascinating details about Michelangelo’s David. The skip-the-line entry made everything easy, and the whole experience felt relaxed and inspiring. Definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Florence!
