The Historic Centre of San Gimignano is a cultural site of exceptional value since it has treasured its architectural homogeneity and original urban layout. Still during the late Middle Age, the noble families and upper middle-class merchants built many fortified tower houses. It's a very simple ride. A small bus. A guide that barely speaks. 3 hours in Gomigniano (fabulous, surround the walls x inside, everyone is walking down the central street) and 2 hours in Siena (enough x that one is tired ) It's a little expensive. But the time you save by going x your account is worth it.

Wonderful bus trip to fascinating towns. Sara was lovely and spoke in 4 languages to the group. We had plenty of time in both to explore. Lots of walking , especially steep hills in San Gim.

Two fabulous cities with a good amount of time in each to explore without feeling rushed. We are so glad we chose this tour, our driver and host, Sara, were both friendly and accomodating to everyone. It is not a guided tour as such, which is why we booked it,so all exploration is independent however that does not mean it is just a taxi service! Plenty of commentary/history given on the journey and many suggestions on what to do and see before meeting back up. Meeting points are easy to find. The trip starts near the train station just wait for the white bus that says San Gimignano and Sienna on it and away you go. Fabulous trip, great value and safe transport without the hassle. Both cities are incredible to see. You will not be disappointed.
