The meeting point directions are terrible. It’s at the Piazza where the Duomo is located, but the Piazza is huge. We had to ask eight different people before we finally found the meeting location. Then our tour guide informed us that two of our party members had open shoes on, and we would not be allowed admittance to the terrace because of the type of shoes we were wearing. There was absolutely nothing in the directions on the Viator website for this tour that indicated a particular type of shoe was necessary. We had 25 minutes to go find the proper shoes and luckily did not miss our tour! the tour with terrace access was fabulous. highly recommend it

Was supposed to be a group tour but no one showed up, so it was a private tour! We met exactly where they said we would, they even waited a bit for the others which I thought was very nice (I was rushing to get there thinking they might just leave at 9 if you’re there or not) Our tour guide was super knowledgeable helpful and sweet. We got to skip the lines for everything and pop right in. We booked the 9am tour on a Saturday- and to my surprise we were nearly the first ones in the museum, we got to take pictures in front of the Duomo with no one else around. We got to walk the terrace around the roof, again with no one else in sight. We did not climb the dome, which I wanted to do, but if you’re on a budget or a time crunch, it’s not the worst thing to skip. We still got to climb the bell tower and experience another lovely view. The tour was speedy, however not too quick. I wish we could have spent a little more time in the museum but overall this was a great experience and debatably more importantly a great bang for buck experience. I’d definitely recommend. Booking directly with a tour person or company might be cheaper, but the headache to find that is made super easy with Viator. So again, very glad we did this.

We had a great time, listening to the historical knowledge shared by the tour guide. Jade gave the perfect amount of information and it was nice to be able to skip the line.

It was interactive and fun. Elena was very thorough and lively. We were able to ask questions. We can ask as many questions as we wanted and Elena was very knowledgeable. And the skip the line was the best.
