I'm Francesca, passionate about cooking and gastronomy. I learned the art of fresh pasta from my grandmother in her pasta shop, where we started to host this experience. Then I moved it at my house, a true pasta workshop in a beautiful villa on top of the hills, with a stunning view of Florence. I founded “Francyspasta” in 2017, that won several Airbnb Experiences awards, and changed completely my life in better.Time after time I created a group of passionate hosts like me, and now we are a crew of pasta makers, Gaia, Luisa, Tommaso, all very special people who will make our time together unique, in the magical atmosphere of our workshop-house, full of love, light and art in the heart of our splendid Tuscany.

What To Expect

Don't miss this experience, learn the art of fresh egg pasta in a splendid Florentine villa from the 1500s. We will be on the hills of Florence, just ten minutes from the city center, from which you'll enjoy a fantastic view! Get out of the tourist circuit and enjoy your new friends!_ Transfer from the city center is included to come and back from my. place._We'll start with a welcome coffee and cookies in the morning , aperitivo in the evening, to get to know each other a little bit, then let's get our hands in the dough from scratch with flour and eggs, following our instructions, we'll do two different shapes of pasta. We will roll it out by hand and with the pasta machine, making shapes for Cappellacci & Spaghetti, but not without a small aperitif with tomato and basil “bruschetta” and few glasses of Prosecco! It is already time to prepare another dough, the potatoes Gnocchi. Come in the kitchen and watch how do the sauces for gnocchi, spaghetti and cappellaci with ricotta and spinach. We'll prepare the table to eat together all the meals you've made! buon appetito!.Our team will glad to host you and share our love for pasta and Tuscany with you!

From the moment you are greeted for pickup to the farewell - this experience felt like a big hug. The pasta making was fun, informative, and delicious but better yet - the people, the atmosphere and the welcoming energy is was made this a memory for the books. It was the highlight of our entire trip.

Wonderful pasta cooking class up in the hills of Florence. Beautiful rustic setting inside the house. Louisa and Gaia were fun, engaging and superb pasta makers who made everyone feel welcome during the 3.5 hour session. Highly recommend the experience.

Our pasta/gnocchi class at Francy’s was one of the highlights of our trip! Not only an excellent chef, our host was extremely personable and a superb educator. I learned SO much while enjoying myself! I’m taking home a piece of Italy that can’t be lost or stolen… but developed and shared

Wonderful experience with Louisa and Gia! I know we were one class of probably many during the week but somehow we felt like special guests in the kitchen of someone who welcomes the company and loves the food. A delicious experience in a beautifully scenic location. So much fun!

Francy’s was the highlight of our trip to Florence!! The cooking class takes place in her beautiful home with a stunning view. Skip the in-town options and opt for this unique and authentic pasta making experience. We made three different pastas, learned how to make different sauces, and enjoyed plenty of wine! 10/10 experience- she was awesome!!

Oh my goodness! This pasta class was so much fun! From Luisa's warm welcome with spritzers and introductions on the patio to limoncello and arrivederci farewells , we thoroughly enjoyed this pasta class. Luisa's warm personality, Italian flare , and culinary expertise encouraged our group of 12 as we prepared and dined on 3 different pasta dishes. Giia was delightful and kept our wine glasses full. The class takes place in Francy's lovely home overlooking Florence. Such a fun evening...don't miss it. (And we learned how to make the very best and pronounce correctly... Bruschetta-YUM!)

This class stood out as highlight in a trip full of highlights. I cannot recommend the class enough. I hope to one day return. The view, the staff, some of the best pasta I had my entire trip, there is nothing but overwhelming positive things to say. A trip to Florence is incomplete for me now without Francy’s Pasta class.
