Nice way to visit Pisa. The tour is informative and lots of time to explore on your own. Pisa is a beautiful place.

- Bus was comfortable, but seats a bit narrow. - Guide on bus gave interesting information, but her accent was a little hard to understand. As she guided us from the bus to the site, she repeatedly emphasized the danger of pickpockets -- to the point that it was a little frightening. - While free WiFi was advertised on the bus, it needs a password, which wasn't posted. You may have to ask the guide. - The onsite guide was interesting and funny, but we wondered if it was worth the extra cost.

Although the tour achieved the goal of seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa, I was upset that there was no mention of a dress code like other tours highlighted if necessary to gain entry to any of the tour locations. Further, we were told by the guide we could leave things on the bus and because it was a warm day, left my light jacket. The guide even complimented my sun dress, but failed to mention that I would need a jacket or something to cover my shoulders more to gain entry into one of the locations. It was only before we were about to enter one of the locations that the women were told we needed to buy a shawl at the conventionly located gift shop if we wanted to enter that location. Although the shawl itself was inexpensive it felt like it was done on purpose to ensure local spending. It was upsetting to feel like I had no choice since there was no mention ahead of time about dress code nor mention to bring something with us we may have had from the bus.

Overall a very good tour. However, the pickup spot was terrible. It was impossible to get a taxi there. We wound up taking an Uber which was 3X the price of a taxi, and arrived early thinking we would get a coffee and relax while waiting. However, there was nothing to do in the immediate area, so we just sat around at a bus stop for an hour waiting for the tour bus to arrive. The bus arrived around thirty minutes early, but there were no signs or indications that this was our tour bus, so we thought it was something else Finally, at the scheduled departure time, we became worried and walked up to two people who'd been standing there for a while and asked if they knew about the tour, and it turns out they were the tour operators. They then pointed to the bus that had been there for thirty minutes. Some signs would have been helpful. The tour itself was very good. We learned a lot and had a very good time in Pisa. On the way back, the same problem. We couldn't' t get a taxi in the area, and wound up taking a very expensive Uber. Overall, it was a good tour. But they should find a better pckup location.
