Depart from Ho Chi Minh City for Cu Chi Tunnels, just 60 kilometers outside the city. Soak up the rural rice paddy scenery along the side of the road.
After 1.5 hours ride. We arrive at the tunnels where you will: watch a short documentary film that takes you to the past with an introduction of the Tunnels. You can crawl distances through the tunnels that were used by the guerrilla fighters during the War. You may see kitchens, living quarters, hospitals among other things. Learn about how different types of traps were created and set up and learn how the ingenious Viet Cong soldiers made them.
Imagine this peaceful place back when it was a "Free Target Zone" and suffered great destruction and damage due to bombings. You also get a chance to safely fire the war guns.
After exploration, we travel back to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive approximately at 3:30pm for the morning tour and 7:00pm for the afternoon tour.
