-Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role in the anti - American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for its tunnels system of over 220km and is a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors.
-The peacefully rural rice paddy scenery contains ducks and water buffalos swimming in the rivers alongside the road. Visitors will find it hard to imagine the destructions, damage and defoliation all over the area, caused by bombing and mines, When Cu Chi was " A Free Target Zone ". The remnants visitors will see show Cu Chi still has her evidence to prove the fierce battleground that took place there.
-Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war)

5.00I joined the Cu Chi half-day tour with SST Travel and had a great experience. The guide (Peter) was incredibly kind and friendly, and he explained the culture and history in such clear and detailed ways. The tour operator Maddie is helpful and responsive. The tour was well-organized, informative, and very enjoyable. Highly recommended!

5.00The experience was wonderful and it all began even before the trip started. I was greeted by Elise the night before and she ensured and confirmed the pick up details with me and told me what to expect and bring for the tour. Elise was always be there whenever i had any queries and handled them professionally. The tour was memorable and i really learnt alot about the history of the war and the tunnels thanks to our guide Justin who speaks good english and had great knowledge about the history of the war. Even after the tour Elise would still check in on me every now and then ensuring that everything was in order and smooth. The hospitality was truly amazing and i never felt lonely even though i was a solo traveller. I would highly recommend and will definitely book again with SST Travel!
