Muhammad was a wonderful tour guide. He picked us up right on time and made the whole journey enjoyable with his knowledge, sharing interesting history and stories about every place we visited. His explanations were easy to understand and added so much meaning to what we were seeing. As a solo traveler, I really appreciated how friendly and attentive he was—he made sure everyone felt included and comfortable throughout the tour. I had a great time and would highly recommend this experience to others.

Over an hour to drive from Dubai to Abu Dahbi. The mosque and the Emirate Hotel were impressive. Opportunity to purchase dates and teas. The Art Gallery was actually a showroom for the selling of carpets, clothes and artworks. Choice of Asian or Arabic food for lunch; we chose Arabic buffet (not included in price of tour). Our driver was knowledgeable and friendly.

Everything was great except time limits. We did not have enough time at each stop to actually explore and enjoy the culture.

Yesterday, I had a Full-day Abu Dhabi Tour with a tour rep by the name of Ali. I regret to say that at the end of the tour I was left stranded at Yas Island Mall. I had no desire to visit the Mall and actually wondered why I wasn't returned to the pick up point. This was my second day in Abu Dhabi and I was left in a strange Mall, miles away from my hotel with no way of getting back. When I asked Ali if I was near the point he picked me up at, when I realised he was leaving, he answered yes. Only to find out I was miles away, I had to take a taxi back to my hotel, which cost 85 dirham, plus the 40 dirham I paid to get to the pickup point. This was my first excursion in Abu Dhabi and it was awful. I now wonder if I can trust anyone. Ali was very pushy to get a good review even before the end of the tour was announced. I complied and gave him a brilliant review because he made it appeared as if his job depended on it. Minutes later he left me stranded. I've used Viator and Trip Advisor for years all over the world, and this has been by far my worst experience. I've never been treated so diabolically by a tour guide. I hate to imagine how I would get back to my hotel if I didn't have the money to pay for a taxi. Ali should not be working with vulnerable tourists, he has no consideration for their wellbeing in a strange country. My experience could have ended totally different if I had no means of getting back. Viator/Trip Advisor, I'm extremely disappointed in you😞. You need to vet whose care you are putting your customers in. This is a very serious matter. Janett Kelly-White
