On our Highland Lochs, Glens & Castles tour from Edinburgh we will take you to some of the best scenery Scotland has to offer. Majestic mountains tumble down to shimmering lochs and castles, while glens tell tragic tales of centuries gone by.
You will have the opportunity to visit a castle or two and we’ll also have the chance to get some photos of castle ruins. We visit the picturesque highland village of Luss which sits on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond with views to Ben Lomond, Scotland’s most southerly Munro.

What a wonderful experience with Ron teaching us so much about the history of Scotland. He was kind, informative and took very good care of us. The sights were beautiful when we could see them. Unfortunately we had down pours and heavy fog all day. However, this is what you can expect in Scotland and we had prepared ourselves for this.

Kyle, our driver and guide did a great job. My daughter and I had a wonderful day! Thank you Kyle!! Maybe in the tour description, make it more clear that the castle in Invernary is closed on Tuesday & Wednesday. I saw it way down in the description (i.e.,tours Thurs-Mon) when I booked and was fine with it, but several traveling companions misinterpreted it when they booked separately and were a bit upset to learn it was closed on our tour date.

Gary S may have been born to be a local tour guide. He is an entertaining local with all the charm and wit due that description. His voice was perfect for this tour. We got a true Scottish experience of the highlands - local flair and rain. To spite some changes due to mud slides and a film crew closing some parts of the tour, Gary was able to pivot quickly and charmingly to show us things only a local would think to include on short notice. He was always kind and respectful and did a great job communicating some of the soft things, like how long it would be until the next bathroom or coffee shop.
