After the hike, we’ll relax by a beautiful lake. If the weather is favorable, you’ll have the chance to take a refreshing dip or enjoy a lakeside grill to conclude the day.

What To Expect

Swiss Alps

First, we drive with the minivan to the starting point of our unique hike. Our main destination is the breathtaking Göscheneralpsee trail, where we traverse lush meadows, serene forests, and a stunning glacial lake. Since weather conditions can be unpredictable, we remain flexible and may opt for an alternative hike, such as the panoramic Rigi Scheidegg trail, featuring rolling hills, distant peaks, and potential wildlife sightings. Our priority is always choosing the best option for the day. Regardless of the chosen route, each hike unfolds as a picturesque adventure, offering breathtaking views and unforgettable landscapes throughout the approximately 4-hour trek. Enjoy the diversity of experiences as you traverse these stunning locations, each with its own unique charm and allure.

Lake Lucerne

After the hike, if the weather is good, we will go to a unique swimming place at the lake to relax for a few hours and possibly take a dip in the lake. On the days we do the Göschneralpsee hike, we'll head to a swimming place in Flüelen Gruonbach, while on the days we do the Rigi Scheidegg hike, we'll visit a small charming beach in Vitznau. In bad weather, we'll make a stop at a bistro. On the way to the lake, we may also stop at a supermarket if necessary. At the lake, there is also the option of grilling. Wood and the like I always have with me in the minivan. This plan ensures we have a delightful and flexible outing regardless of the weather conditions.

We booked a private tour, and it was the highlight of our Switzerland trip! Great communication, stunning views, and so much fun! The tour was tailored to our preferences and hiking skill level. Even though the weather forecasted for rain, it didnt rain much and we were able to fully enjoy. The hiking was fun and just challenging enough, and the swim was refreshing. Our guide thought of everything, took pics for us, and made sure we were comfortable and having fun. I'd do it again and totally recommend.

This was a great day. Robbie was a great guide and he really made this hike a lot of fun for us. We are in our 60s and experienced hikers. However he tailors the hike to your abilities. I highly recommend.

Although the weather forecast showed rain for the day, we still went on the hike, and it was so worth it! Luckily, the sun did come out, so don't let a little rain deter you because it most likely won't last all day. Robbe was amazing, supportive, and easy to hike with! The views were breathtaking, and the hike challenged my body in all the best ways. I'd definitely do it again.

The hike was amazing! Our guide, Robbe was very helpful and kind. Provided us food and help during the duration of the activity. Communication was also easy. It’s also a plus that we went and got to take a dip in the lake.

Spectacular!! The place for our hike was everything you could want. Robbe was knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. We had few tourists and amazing vistas of lakes and snowcapped mountains and the beautiful farms and valleys below.
