What To Expect
Gokayama has 5 valleys dotted with 40 villages. Ainokura and Suganuma villages were designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1995. Lean Japanese traditional lifestyle with unique Gassho zukuri houses. We will stroll around the village and have a short photo shoot session done by a professional photographer to capture your travel memories.

5.00TK, our photographer, gave us a great tour of Gokayama & Shirakawago. He knew the best spots for the photoshoot, all pictures turned out great. He gave us hints which houses and views to focus on but also left us all the freedom and privacy we needed to walk our own tour. He recommended a great place to eat. In addition to the great memories he created for us in the beautiful pictures, the experience of the shoot itself was a really cool experience, almost like a team-building for our family. TK is on top of everything else a great guy, fluent English speaker and an interesting person to get to know. He captured who we are as a family in the pictures and made suggestions for postures, nothing more, always letting us express ourselves freely.

5.00We had a wonderful day with TK-san as our intrepid guide and photographer. Completely undeterred by the oppressive heat he led us through the two villages and took the most amazing photos of us throughout. I highly recommend.

5.00Super nice, friendly local guide for my trip to Shirakawago. If you need a good, convenient service to visit this fairy tale village, collecting some more Instagramable photos for yourself, and facing no hiccup in communications in English. Definitely TK should be your choice :) Though i got the big snowfall that day but he tried his best for my lovely photos. A very professional photographer.
