Doing this tour was our best decision to wrap up our trip, the timing and attention to details made everything smooth for all of us including pick up and drop off. Herbie's profesionalism and knowledge as tour guide made this activity one of our preferred during our trip to China. Fully recommended!

Herbie was a star from start to finish! All the great reviews of him are true. I was traveling on my own with three young kids and despite them being exhausted he got them engaged and they had so much fun and learnt so much. We've booked in with him again for our return trip via Beijing next month and really can't wait, he's promised me some authentic Peking duck! Highly recommend getting to the wall early if you can as well avoided all the queues

The tour guide was great. She provided a lot of information about all places we toured. The Great Wall was my highlight despite it being a very hot day. The van we traveled in was conditioned. She took at to a spot where we ate tasty Chinese dumplings

I recently took a private tour in Beijing with Lisa as my guide, and it was an incredible experience overall. It was just me, Lisa, and the driver, making it feel very personalized and comfortable. We visited the Great Wall and the Forbidden City—two iconic locations that were even more breathtaking in person. Lisa was fantastic—extremely knowledgeable about Chinese history and culture, and her English was excellent, which made everything so engaging and easy to follow. The pacing of the tour was perfect, and I never felt rushed. Lisa shared fascinating stories and details that really brought the sites to life. I also appreciated having a private driver, which made getting between locations seamless and stress-free. The only slight downside was at the end of the tour when I was invited to an optional tea ceremony. While the tea tasting itself was very interesting and educational, it quickly became a high-pressure sales pitch for expensive tea products. I really dislike being pushed into buying things, and this part of the experience felt unnecessary and out of place after such an otherwise flawless day. That aside, the tour itself was fantastic, and I would absolutely recommend Lisa if you’re looking for an informative and enjoyable private tour in Beijing. Just skip the tea ceremony if you prefer to avoid a sales pitch.

Nina was an excellent tour guide. Lovely to chat to and having only one day, it was so easy to do the tour this way not having to worry about public transport etc. She even fit in an extra stop for me which was appreciated. Thanks Nina!
