Scott was a great guide! Super knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. He knows a lot about the area and it's clear he does this simply because he wants to share what he loves. Thanks Scott for a great hike!

I would recommend this hike no matter what your hiking skills are. Scott takes this into consideration and makes the hike around your skill set. He was very knowledgeable about the plant and animal life along the path. I even got the treat of seeing a scorpion glow in the dark.

Took this sunset hike with Scott as part of our daughter’s 28th birthday celebration. It was truly amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable about the ecosystem and the plant and animal life of the area and took time to educate us. The hike was challenging by he was attentive to safety and comfort. He provided plenty of water and snacks. The views were indescribably beautiful. We will be contacting Scott again next time we are back on the area.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Scott has an absolute passion for what he does and you can tell he is clearly comfortable in the desert environment. I participated in the sunset hike, and was not disappointed in the views! I would definitely book a guided hike with Scott again. He took time to stop and point out things that were interesting, and sharing the knowledge of the area he has acquired.

Scott Z was EXCELELNT!!!!!!!! I enjoyed this tour very much. I am from Canada and, indeed, found it quite hot. Scott had water and snacks to keep me hydrated. He was very knowledgeable about the terrain, plants, and local wildlife. I did the evening tour to see the sunset. Therefore, it was dark on the walk down. Scott had black lights and headlamps- he was very prepared! On the hike down, we saw several scorpions. Scott was SO brave and took a close-up video of one scorpion eating some worm/ other insect; it was extremely cool! Thanks for that, Scott! I saw plenty of cute farm mice with fluffy puffs on the end of their tails. We heard an owl but could not site him- but he was close and making plenty of noise :) Scott’s knowledge of the landscape is fabulous. I learnt so much about different cactus and trees. Very impressive. I like the cholla-teddy bear caucus. :) Scott allows you to walk at your pace and checks in regularly to ensure you are okay. He chooses to walk ahead to confirm the path is clear for you! Plenty of picture ops along the way. He knows the perfect spots! Choose Scott or wish you did!!! Thanks for the memories! Canadian Friend!

I took the sunrise hike at 4 am, and the view from the peak was worth the 2-hour hike. Scott Z was very friendly and knowledgeable about the terrain, plants, and local wildlife, as well as other activities in the area that may not be well advertised. Bring at least 2 bottles of water and a flashlight for the first half of the hike up the mountain.
