5.00Absolutely brilliant! Tommy was a great guide who was not only really informative but just a really good guy to spend the day with! Right from the beginning he was brilliant...he was early and waiting for us, had a very nice car and both my mother and we felt very safe and secure. I cannot recommend enough.

5.00Can’t say enough good things about Tommy’s tours. We had a blast exploring Da Nang and Hoi An and the immediate environs. The tour was very well planned and executed with a great driver and very knowledgable tour guide. We are repeat customers and would highly recommend!

5.00We took an shore excursion with this tour company on January 10th to see Marble Mountain and Hoi An. Lam was our tour guide and was very knowledgable about the locations that we visited. We started by visiting a marble factory across the street from Marble Mountain, which is a tourist/temple site. A highlight was the luncheon in Hoi An where we ate in a restuarant that served local food in a traditiional vietnam setting with pork, beef and shrimp skewers, vegetables in a rice paper or egg pancake wrap. We also met the tour company owner at this location, which was nice. In Hoi An, we saw various temples and historical sites, along with ample shopping opportunities. Note that it is a 2 hour drive from Hoi An back to the Chan May Port so this is a full day tour. We left the ship at 9:30AM and returned 5:00PM. In summary, I would recommend this tour company for anyone interested.

5.00Used Tommy Dao Tours for a return transfer from Chan May Port to Hoi An. Nice vehicle and Driver (Dong) was very reliable and friendly. Tommy Dao provided very clear instructions where to meet driver at Chan May port. Excellent reliably company to deal with and good communication. Really enjoyed our day in Hoi An and back in good time for the ship.

5.00We can’t speak highly enough of our tour. Tommy was in contact with us before the day to ensure everything went smoothly. We had teenage daughters and my elderly mother with us. Tommy’s team were so thoughtful and caring to us all, especially mum who has limited mobility. The tour was fantastic. Our guide, Tien, was extremely knowledgeable and we all left our tour with a lot of information from the places visited on our itinerary. Our authentic Vietnamese lunch was delicious and we all agreed that this was a great inclusion in our day, along with the chance to meet Tommy in person. We arrived back at the port in plenty of time before our ship departed. Thankyou Tommy and Tien for such a memorable experience and for taking care of us so well.

5.00Fabulous trip, picked up from our boat which docked early but Tommy already knew this and was prepared and advised us. Our guide was amazing, very informative and advised us of Vietnamese culture, food and ways of life. Highly recommend using this company extremely professional and friendly.

5.00We picked the Marble mountain and Hoi An city tour. Everything went great, Tommy kept in contact throughtout to give us info on pick up location etc. On the day our amazing tour guide Anh greeted us at port. She was professional, friendly and very informative. The whole experience was amazing, Hoi An being our favourite and the delicious traditional Vietnamese lunch that was included. We only wish we had more time but were restricted due to it being a excursion from cruise ship!! Thanks!

5.00This is my family first time to travel on a cruise and our first time to visit Vietnam. Our ship "Voyager of the Seas" stop at Chan May port, which is an industrial port with not much transportation support, I had been worrying if Tommy does not send his team to pick us, we will be stuck there. However, it proves that my worry is not necessary, Tommy has been very responsive since the day I book the tour at Viator, I asked many questions by Whatsapp to make sure I knew precisely when and how the pick up is done, and Tommy has answered each of them patiently. On the day when the ship arrives at Chan May port and after just about 200 walk by Tommy's instructions, we found the tour guide Mary already. We board the 7 seater mini van in no time. The van is spacious and comfortable. Originally the Dragon Bridge is not included but Mary and the driver Hung had been really flexible to squeeze it into the schedule and we are able to take some photos with this landmark. We then start the tour according to schedule as Marble Hill in Da Nang, then a beautiful lunch at Hoi An, and tour around this lovely town (any photo taken in this town is good, a must seen site), stopped by My Khe Beach and arrived well in advance back to Chan May port. The tour guide Mary speaks in excellent English and no problem when we chatted everything about the tour, and even each other families. Everything about the tour is smooth and nice. I would highly recommend Tommy Dao Tours without reservation and I am sure it will make your trip a great and happy memory just as we do.

5.00We were a group of 10 who took this tour from Chan May port whilst on Celebrity Constellation in January 2019. Correspondence with Tommy Dao beforehand was always swift and efficient. He was there to meet us on the morning of our excursion and was just as charming as he had been online. He stayed with us until lunchtime. We were driven by Hai in a comfortable minibus to Marble Mountains, Lady Buddah Statue, DaNang and we passed by My Khe beach. We had a delicious lunch at Riverside Restaurant before spending several hours in the lovely town of Hoi An. Our guide throughout the day was Mr Lam. He was a real character who provided us with lots of interesting information about Vietnam as well as entertaining us with his sense of humour and singing. He's a real asset to the Tommy Dao team. We arrived back at the port in plenty of time after a thoroughly enjoyable day. I would thoroughly recommend booking with Tommy Dao Tours.
