In the event that Palácio da Pena or Quinta da Regaleira are closed due to an accident or natural events (such as storms or fire risks), the tour will not be cancelled. Instead, alternative sites will be visited, such as the National Palace of Sintra and the Palace of Queluz, ensuring a full and enriching experience.
On December 24th, 25th, and 31st, as well as January 1st, Palácio da Pena and Quinta da Regaleira will be closed to visitors.
Please note that the tour is subject to a minimum number of participants. Should this requirement not be met, we will need to reschedule your tour to an alternative time slot or date.
If you chose the pickup option, you will be picked up between 7h40-8h20.

5.00There was a lot of walking but so worth it. It was very windy and rainy so we don’t get to go where we thought we were supposed to go. However, we go to go to other super cool places. Our guide Bart was phenomenal.

5.00We booked this reasonably priced half-day private car and walking tour a month in advance having never been to Portugal and relying only on a friend’s recommendation to see Sintra, and we just got very lucky to find this tour company in our search and book it. The tour scenery was gorgeous but Alex made the day! Born and raised in Sintra, he’s an area expert. His knowledge was matched by his friendliness, enthusiasm and true love for the history of his home city and country. Aside from the cold and rainy weather (which we expected for early February) it was a perfect, personable tour. We’ll return one day, and highly recommend Alex and Easy Escape Tours to all traveling to Lisbon.

5.00My husband and I did this tour with our 3 month old in a chest carrier. Alex is awesome and was very accommodating. He is super knowledgeable and is from Sintra, which was cool to meet someone from the area. We had the best day with him and we will be recommending him to friends and family who visit this area in the future. We stopped at a delicious bakery to fuel up for walking to both of the sites. It rained a lot and even in the rain it was still super enjoyable and we learned a lot. The coolest part was touring Quinta da Regaleira. We were originally on the fence about wanting to go there before we booked the tour and it ended up being such a highlight for us. The well, caves, and energy there are a must see. It is surrounded by lush gardens that are gorgeous and calming. We had some extra time at the end of our day and we stopped to get lunch at one of Alex’s favorite spots and the meal was fire. Don’t waste time reviewing any other companies, this is the one you should use.

5.00The palaces in Sintra are stunning and this tour was the icing on the cake of my recent trip to Lisbon. Our guide, Alex was really good. He texted the evening before to confirm all the details and was there on time. He was very informative about the palaces and the area. I never felt rushed. The chat was easy and with being in a small group I was able to ask lots of questions ! I was limited on time so this half day tour was perfect for me. Getting there was simple too, direct train from Rossio which was included on my Lisboa card. The tour was fascinating - would definitely recommend this one!

5.00We booked a half day trip to Sintra instead of the full day. Our guide Alex who lives in Sintra was so great. Extremely knowledgeable when it came to the area and the history of Sintra which we really enjoyed listening to him. We both thought a half day was more than enough for what we wanted to see. Our pick up and drop off instructions were communicated very well through a WhatsApp text. The weather didn’t really cooperate as it was very foggy and rainy so didn’t get the views we wanted but to us still a 10 out of 10 on the trip. We finished a little early just because of the rain so he offered to take us to a local restaurant in Sintra which was really cool to try authentic Portuguese dishes he recommended and some drinks. A+ all around great trip and would recommend to anyone. Half day was perfect for us Thanks again Alex
