Explore the wonderful wines of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada on this 4+ hour tour to 3 separate wineries. Enjoy tastings of three to four wines at each stop including award wining ice wine, Enjoy a wine and cheese pairing at one winery. Learn about the winemaking process and the wines themselves, while trying to discover each wine’s unique tasting notes. Its a good idea to bring snacks as lunch is not served on this tour.

What To Expect
Niagara-on-the-Lake
PLEASE READ THIS TOUR STOPS AT 3 WINERIES ( wineries are subject to change, without notice. We are working hard with our winery partners to ensure a safe consistent winery experience. However at times the wineries are not available due to limited capacity) After pickup from your hotel in Niagara Falls or Niagara-on-the-Lake (Canadian side only), your first stop will be at an Estate Winery for your first wine tasting experience . Following your first stop, continue on to 2 more award winning Niagara-on-the-Lake wineries for more tastings of excellent wines. You will enjoy a cheese and wine pairing at 1 winery. Each winery will demonstrate their unique wines, discuss tasting notes, and answer any questions you have. Each winery tasting will consist of three or four wines per tasting and at the end of your 4 hour tour, you will be returned to your original departure point.

2.00Not a great experience - Chris was our tour guide and was unfortunately quite abrasive. Before the tour even started he made several comments that if we wanted better service, a working radio (yes, he said that) we should have booked a private limo. Right off the bat, he was very in our faces about needing to tip and being expected to tip the driver. There’s even a large sign on-board that says a 15-20% cash tip is customary and he made mention to it several times. The first 90mins of the tour was just the bus driving around in circles to pick up other guests. Our first two stops were not great (Nomad and Riverside) and the cheese “tasting” was not at all worth the price. There was a wedding taking place so we sat in the attic of the vineyard to have our tasting which was bizarre. We were given essentially a sip of each wine, not the typical tasting amount. Our final stop at Between the Lines Winery was incredible, the owner, Greg, exceeded all expectations and we wished that he could’ve spent the entire day with us. Overall, we really wished we had just done our own tour and Ubered or walked between wineries. The guide made several comments that left many guests uncomfortable, including when he walked around the first vineyard and told us “one picture a day, you’re on your own for the rest because I need to work” and quickly took a picture of each table before anyone was ready. It would’ve been cheaper and much more enjoyable to have done our own thing.

2.00Chris was extremely rude to my group, would not reccomend him as a driver. The tour was okay tho, be prepared for a lot of talking and not much mingling amongst yourselves with friends.
