It is a van , not a bus, so it was cramped space. The guide was also the driver., which seems like a long day for him. The guide, Mark, was knowledgeable and caring.

Our tour guide, Richard, was excellent - friendly and well informed about the area. He indicated at the beginning of the trip that he would stop at the mid point but if anyone needed to stop to just let him know and he would find a place. The trip itself was wonderful but be prepared for a long day. Richard pointed out places of interest enroute to the destinations. He started each city with a tour highlighting points of interest in the city. He provided excellent recommendations for spots to eat and/or drink and sites to see during our free time in each spot. He was very clear about meeting times and places for the group and thankfully everyone was in the right place at the right time. In Salzburg, we decided to tour the castle. The views of Salzburg were stunning. Hallstatt was so gorgeous it did not look real. We ate at the recommended hotel restaurant at the patio. As I noted, be prepared for a very long day and many hours of driving. However, the vehicle was very comfortable and we were provided a bottle of water and snacks. The scenery to each destination was stunning so the ride did not seem very long.
