Arrive in Hallstatt, Austria’s most picturesque lake town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll through Hallstatt’s Old Town – admire pastel-colored houses, charming cafés, and traditional Austrian architecture. Visit the Market Square (Marktplatz) with its lovely central fountain and surrounding historic buildings. You may take a short funicular ride up to the Skywalk, where you'll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over the Dachstein Alps and Lake Hallstatt. Stop at the Bone House (Beinhaus) in St. Michael’s Chapel – home to a unique collection of decorated skulls. (It is very easy to explore Hallstatt’s Old Town on your own.)
