Cu Chi Tunnels
This VIP full-day tour takes you from Ho Chi Minh city to two popular attractions, the Cu Chi Tunnels, and the Mekong Delta. Be picked up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city in the morning and board a comfortable and spacious car. Head to Cu Chi tunnels, where you will explore and learn about the Vietnam War resistance the US Forces.
Mekong Delta
Depart for Mekong Delta in the late morning, stopping at a local restaurant on the way to enjoy a lunch of Vietnamese Cuisine. Make your way to the Mekong Delta after lunch. Hop aboard a rowboat and travel through small canals under the fronds of coconut trees. Transfer to a motorboat to cruise to Coconut island. Disembark at a local family's residence to enjoy tropical fruits, honey tea, and local wine. See how local products are made and listen to a live local music performance performed by the villagers. Stroll along the countryside roads in the afternoon and have the chance to get to know the locals by interacting with them while they live their daily lives. 2.00The tour itself was really great, we got to see everything we wanted in the short amount of time we had available in Saigon. The lunch we included was a great way to taste a variety of traditional foods and catered to vegetarians/vegans and meat eaters. A really great experience. Unfortunately, with our particular tour group, although it was small, we ended up waiting around 40 minutes for the other people to even be ready to start the tour, which was really annoying, especially because we had gotten up early and made sure we were on time. It almost got to a point where we didn't think the tour guide should be so accommodating and we were tempted to leave the tour, if it weren't for the fact that we couldn't be refunded. It set us up for a day of rushing all the attractions we saw, especially when those same people kept us behind at most places when it was time to go.
Overall, the attractions we got to see were great and insightful, however, it would be good for the tour company to set some hard guidelines for people who are running late only because of their own ignorance.A very interesting and thought...

5.00A very interesting and thought provoking day visiting the Cu Chi tunnels. Lots of opportunity to learn the history and test the tunnels for yourselfquite unnerving. The delta and ride through the mangroves was good fun. A nice day out. Our guide was very lively and talkative and her English was good. Lunch was provided and it was delicious, freshly cooked and a nice variety of Vietnamese dishes to try.
