The Venerable Thich Quang Duc Monument
The tour starts by picking you up at your place (hotel, apartment, house, Airbnb). The friendly guide introduces about him/herself and how to sit on the motorbike in the right way. After making sure you feel comfortable on the back of the bike, the guide drive you through main roads, then narrow alleyways which are home to most of Saigon and the hidden part of the city. Stopping at a green memorial park, you learn about the less-known history and the heart-broken story about Thich Quang Duc monk who burned himself until death in order to protest the way Ngo Dinh Diem - President of the South Vietnam treated Buddhism. The huge statue and large-sized relief are worth seeing but missed by most of the tourists.
Nguyen Thien Thuat Apartment Buildings
Are you curious about how Saigon people lived 50 years ago? We will take you to an apartment building area since 1969, which has not been changed so much. Small apartments, wrought iron windows, wooden louver shutters, cement tiles, structures, materials and people still remain.

Jenny, Nora and Heidi were extremely cautious riders and very knowledgeable about our tour. The traffic in Vietnam can be very intimidating but at no time did I went feel safe with our three young girl. A must do in Vietnam if possible with these specific girls.

Heidi was the perfect guide. I had seen a few of the sights in previous days so she adjusted the tour accordingly. It was perfect. Saw so much of the colorful local life and the Temple of a hundred Buddha’s was breathtaking. Heidi, I can’t thank you enough.

Really good trip on the motorbike with 2 young students. They were great fun and gave us a different type of tour as the description outlines. As well as seeing the sights just chatting over coffee with them was inspiring. Give it a go and have some fun

Heidi was my guide and she was extremely nice. She has great English and she’s very knowledgeable about the different parts that we visited. She also has great conversation. As I took a tour the night before to some of the places included in this one, I asked to have a couple of variants and she was great accommodating and making the experience awesome! Definite it’s a must-do!
