Golden Dragon Water Puppet Theater
17:30: Pick up at your hotel to star the trip. 18:30: You will enjoy the unique art of a water-puppet show, a traditional art form closely connected with the long-standing spiritual life of the Vietnamese people. It is performed in a pool of water, with the water surface acting as the stage. The puppeteers will stand behind a screen and control the puppets using long bamboo rods and string mechanisms which are hidden beneath the water surface. A traditional Vietnamese orchestra will provides background music accompaniment, and singers with origins in north Vietnam will sing songs which tell the story being acted out by the puppets ( are carved out of wood). Although the authentic shows are exclusively in Vietnamese, the tales depict rural life in villages and offer a colorful way to enjoy an ancient tradition.

5.00Had a great night, good food, lots of diversity in food, met some cool people fun riding around town. Long and the Team were all very friendly and knowledgeable, answering any questions we had about the food, pronunciation and Vietnam generally.
