Golden Dragon Water Puppet Theater
17:30: Pick up at your hotel to star the trip. 18:30: You will enjoy the unique art of a water-puppet show, a traditional art form closely connected with the long-standing spiritual life of the Vietnamese people. It is performed in a pool of water, with the water surface acting as the stage. The puppeteers will stand behind a screen and control the puppets using long bamboo rods and string mechanisms which are hidden beneath the water surface. A traditional Vietnamese orchestra will provides background music accompaniment, and singers with origins in north Vietnam will sing songs which tell the story being acted out by the puppets ( are carved out of wood). Although the authentic shows are exclusively in Vietnamese, the tales depict rural life in villages and offer a colorful way to enjoy an ancient tradition.

4.00This night tour was absolutely amazing. The house picked us up from the hotel on scooters and off we went l. Oh my goodness it was the best of fun and the riders were very safe and we felt very comfortable. The night food market tour was so enjoyable we recommend it. The food and locations were well worth the money and recommend it as a must do. The guides were amazing and knowledgeable.

4.00Water puppet show was great, something unique as we had never seen anything like it before. Sadly, we were disappointed when the ending was cut short so that we’d make the cruise ship on time. The disappointment didn’t last too long once we arrived to see the massive luxury cruise ship, much bigger than we had imagined! A lovely three course meal was enough to fill us up and we ended the night on the upper deck taking in the view of the city lights of the skyline. Big thanks to Long for making sure each part of the night went smoothly!
