  Make sure you include power plant part of the tour. Our tour guide Robert was fantastic. Full of great information and made tge trip more enjoyable.

  We took the Hoover Dam VIP Inside Tour from Las Vegas with tour guide and driver Luis which was fantastic! He allowed us the opportunity to take photos at Lake Mead and drive across the Hoover Dam on our tour bus which were unforgettable experiences! He provided us with great knowledge and history while also allowing for time to explore the areas along the tour on our own. Don't miss this trip!!

  The trip was great but Boulder City was very rushed. We were given 30 min which only allowed us enough time to order a sandwich from a deli and return to the bus to eat it. There were several cute shops and antique stores we passed in the tow which would have beennice to poke around in.

  Well worth the money, you get see several other interesting spots along with Hoover Dam. I would highly recommend.

  We booked thinking we were getting a "Hoover Dam VIP Inside Tour", maybe a good couple of hours at the dam to go inside, do the tour, walk the structure, visit the store and cafe and then come back. What we got was far from it. Strap yourselves in for real trip experience... Pick up was on time and easy enough, despite being told to bring ID it wasn't checked. Then, once the final passengers were onboard it all started. Our driver, Angela, liked the sound of her own voice, and didn’t we know it. We had to sing “happy birthday” to the people on board celebrating… there weren’t any. Her constant commentary became overwhelmingly dull by the time we reached city limits. She took us on the dullest of tours of Boulder City… (it seems every celebrity in the world has lived there… and she knew them). BUT why are we in Boulder City? We are supposed to be heading for the dam? As we left she mentioned we'd be returning later. WAIT, WHAT? Our interest only peaked by the mere mention of a bar selling $3 beers. We then moved on. Angela's constant "humorous" stories of past tours kept us clinging onto life. Let's recap.... the “Karen” that she nearly ran over, the woman that left her thousands of $$$ winnings on board and chased the coach down the strip, the man who’s toupee blew off… her hilarious embellished tales had the coach in hysterics. Not. When we eventually reached the Hoover Dam for our “VIP experience” it transpires that we had less than one hour. YES, LESS THAN 1 HOUR. This is hardly the VIP tour we'd been sold. We missed the video presentation at the start to jump the queue for the tour. Even the Hoover Dam guides rushed us through the tour with little to no time for questions. By the time we reappeared from the depths we had 5 mins to get some pics on the dam and get back to coach. We only just made it, and we made it into Arizona... just. Our next stop was the memorial bridge that spans the canyon. Good ole Angela parked up (after a stand off with an SUV driver) and said we had 20 mins to climb 64 steps, get to middle of the bridge, take our pics and be back on the bus. We made it with seconds to spare. We then had approx 7 1/2 minutes at a lake mead view point. We'd not signed up for this, why didn't we have longer at the Dam? Angela said we had to take “beautiful pics” (not sure what would happen if they weren’t beautiful?) and we were soon back on the fun bus for more comedy stories. Did I tell you the one about the coyote that only eats chocolate donuts? No? I won’t bore you. We were soon back on our way to Boulder City. Her hard sell of the local Pizza restaurant (getting guests to phone and order pizza beforehand) led us to believe she was on commission, but she failed to tell anyone where it was when we arrived. Hurrah, we found the $3 beer bar and managed to sink a couple of pints before our 28 minutes ran out and we’d been ordered back to the bus. However before she would depart we were rewarded with a 15 minute presentation of how good she was. We all had to scan the QR code to leave a review… she was insistent. Even telling us at this time could use the bus WiFi that we didn't know existed (if only we'd known 5 hours earlier)! Finally we made it back to Vegas. Thankfully the traffic was kind to us and as we couldn’t take anymore we got off at the first stop and walked back to our hotel. What we did not get was a VIP experience any time to relax, take nice pictures and enjoy our surroundings. What we did get was a rushed tour of places we'd not be told (or asked) to visit.   This Hoover Dam tour was amazing, interesting, informative and fun! Our tour guide, Luis, is quite engaging, he knows a lot of history here and made the experience enjoyable! I highly recommend this experience for others!

  It’s a large group. The tour is about 5 hours. Your guides are great and very knowledgeable. The bus is very comfortable

  Hoover Dam is really worth seeing and very impressive. Seeing this was a wonderful experience. However, the driver/guide (Robert L.) was a single disaster. He talked nonstop during the round trip. But only a little informative, but mainly about yourself. That he was the best and greatest in everything and how lucky we would be to have him as a driver. It was hard to stand this smug talk - especially on the way back.
