• Do not do in the offseason

  Did tour in the offseason. Shops and restaurants were closed in Bellagio. There was maybe two restaurants open and a couple of shops. Otherwise, place was a ghost town. Did not get the beauty of Bellagio. The boat ride in Lake Como was beautiful. Next stop of Lugano was not interesting. Lots of shopping but expensive, might as well get in Milan. Same modern shops anyway. Our tour guide, Sara is very nice and professional. She did her best to keep the group engaged. This tour would be great in the summer. Might as well not to do in the off season. Was a long day, best to have spend in Milan.

  I missed this trip-They didn’t even wait for 5 minutes I was at the location at 8.05 and they left -on phone I already said I am in taxi and will be there as soon as possible and requested please don’t leave in morning roads were jammed I can’t make at 8 - they were so rude the guy on phone said it’s written you have to reach at 7:45 which is a lie nothing written in an email they even didn’t refund my money £225.38 were waisted- I phoned Viator they also refused for refund which is horrible- I will never use Viator again-City Wonders is a worst company-my family suffered due to there non flexible attitude-I even said I can chase them please tell me I will get them via taxi the guy on phone said no sorry we can’t get you now-horrible !!!!worst experience ever

• Lakes Como and Lugano

  It was a short hop to see the Alpine lakes and town from Milan. Our guide, Jo, was informatively smart and entertaining. She gave us a “words eye view” of lakes Como and Lugano and the towns surrounding them. It was never tiring and the boat ride through Lake Como was so much fun especially on a sunny winter day..

  Taking this day tour in January was an incredible experience. The freezing temperatures added a crisp beauty to the snow-covered mountains and serene waters of Lake Como, creating postcard-worthy views. While it was unfortunate that about 90% of the shops were closed due to the off-season, I knew this would be the case before my trip. The trade-off, however, was well worth it—no crowds at all. The emptiness made the experience feel peaceful and intimate, allowing us to truly soak in the charm of the region. Our guide, Lisa (if I remember correctly), was a highlight of the tour. She was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating stories about the villa owners along the lake and pointing out famous movie filming locations, which added a fun and unique element to the day. Overall, I wouldn’t change a thing about this tour. The stunning scenery, the calm atmosphere, and Lisa’s expertise made it an unforgettable experience. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting in the winter who doesn’t mind sacrificing some shopping for unmatched tranquility.
