We thank Taiga very much for its explanations and the translation of our questions from English to Japanese. It was a taste and artistic experience in the presence of a beautiful maiko apprentice. I recommend this service even for English novices.

This evening could not have been any better. It began with the most enthusiastic, personable, knowledgeable, passionate guide. Andi is absolutely the best! After discussing history, customs and protocol we arrived at the restaurant which served a fabulous multi-course dinner while being entertained by a beautiful, kind, bright, engaging Maiko. The evening was more than we could’ve hoped for or expected. We highly recommend this incredibly authentic Japanese evening.

This was the best entertainment & cultural dinner in Kyoto. We are a family with teenagers and WE HAD A BLAST!!! Dinner was very casual, fun and relax. It felt like a friend’s dinner. While dinning, we can ask questions to the Geisha (who was sitting with us) about culture & traditions. At the end of the dinner, the Geisha performs a typical dance. TAIGA was our tour guide, who walk us by the streets (before arriving to the dinner) explaining the traditions. He kept the attention of our teenagers, we are grateful for Taiga’s passion. When we arrived to have dinner with the Geisha, he was in charge of all the explanation and translation between the Geisha and us and he did an outstanding job, paying attention and translating very carefully everything (even in a funny way if it was a funny question) so we didn’t miss anything! At some point, we even felt like we were all speaking the same language as the Geisha’s. WE HAD A GREAT TIME AND LEARNED A LOT IN A CASUAL AND FUNNY WAY!!! Thank you Taiga!!!!
