5.00It was just my friend and I, so we had a personal class lol. But it was soo much fun and so informative. The udon was sooo good and the onigiri 10/10. The tempura was sooo yummy. Definitely an experience you can’t pass up! The chef was amazing and Mari was fabulous!

5.00Wonderful atmosphere and experience the chef was nice and answered all of our questions readily. I was very hungover that morning so I was a bit uncomfortable due to my own decisions. But the food was delicious!

5.00One of the highlights of my time in Kyoto was taking an udon, tempura, and onigiri making class. The instructors were friendly, patient, and made the whole experience fun and easy to follow. Making udon from scratch and learning the secrets to light, crispy tempura gave me a whole new appreciation for these classic dishes. Sitting down at the end to enjoy everything we made together was fantastic. Highly recommend this experience if you’re visiting Kyoto! Bonus - Josh the guide is a Japan sports writer and knows a ton about MLB NFL and MLB!

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed this cooking class experience. Making the noodles from scratch was both fun and informative and we had more food than we could eat between the udon, tempura, and inari. This experience also includes two drinks, which is a nice perk. Our guide, Mari, was very friendly and made sure we all understood the chefs instructions and ended up with tasty food. She also did a great job capturing photos throughout the experience and shared them with us after.
