We had a very nice experience. The guide was lovely and the chef very friendly. We got to make our own udon noodles and prepare our own vegetables for the soup. We also made some sushi to go with the soup and fried some tempura vegetables + shrimp. Would definitely recommend!

This tour is great fun with whoever you go with and amazing vibes. Kanta was our guide and made the experience even better. Would definently recommend for anyone that enjoys good food and drinks.

We had such a fun time and learnt a lot about Japan, culture, food and the language. Kanta was so friendly, accommodating and kind. The food was delicious and a really lovely experience. Would definitely recommend!

So yummy and informative! Hand rolled the dough for udon, cooked tempura from scratch, and had delicious drinks! A must try! Mari and chef were super nice!!

Josh was really kind and knowledgeable, he gave us lots of tips for what to do in Kyoto, and the cooking was great fun! This was great to do as a group and we ended up with lots of food for lunch!

Josh was absolutely brilliant! We had some DELICIOUS tempura, udon and onigiri. Cooking time took about 1/1.5 hours. The rest was eating and talking about Kyoto sightseeing.

With Mary, we made our own Udon noodles, with an assortment of tempura and seasonings. Everything was supervised by the chef of the restaurant. The kitchen space is intimate, and we were able to eat quietly afterwards, with tasting of 6 sakes as well. I highly recommend it for anyone who appreciates simple cuisine.

Great udon and tempura cooking class with Mary. Mary was a great guidechef and the whole experience made our trip to Kyoto special. We made udon noodles from scratch and enjoyed them with some new friends from Italy. Cooking class was upstairs in this cool little Japanese restaurant. Highly recommended.
