You can freely move around the vessel and take advantage of the cushioned seating. With a maximum of 24 guests on board, well below our capacity of 36, you will be sure to find a quiet spot to yourselves to relax and soak up the ambiance.
Lady Enid crew will point out various points of interest and discuss the history, flora and fauna of Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays for those who are interested.
Order another drink from our licensed bar. Choose from a selection of beer, wine, sparkling and soft drinks. (No BYO)
Once the sun has gone down, enjoy the lights of Airlie Beach at night, before Lady Enid sails home to Coral Sea Marina.

Airlie Beach
Sundowner Cruises operates from Airlie Beach, where the Whitsunday islands provide the perfect back drop for our sunset cruises. Cruise includes: A two hour cruise around Pioneer Bay, starting from Abell Point Marina which is only a short 200m walk from the main street of Airlie Beach, we cruise to Mandalay Point, Cannonvale Beach and Turtle Bay to spot of few turtles and other wild life including dolphins and dugongs. Our philosophy at Sundowner is about providing a great product, fantastic service in a friendly social atmosphere that gets your holiday of to a great start and that allows you to truly unwind and bask in a fantastic Whitsunday sunset whilst enjoying your favorite tipple from our fully licensed bar.

4.00This was a wonderful experience in terms of the yacht and the sunset but didn’t live up to what was promised on the website. The crew got 13 passengers aboard and almost immediately we were served an antipasto platter for each couple to share. This was a 2.5 hour cruise so the food seemed a bit premature and I’m still puzzled as to why we got 3 prawns and 3 pieces of soft cheese on our plate - hard to divide by 2! The prawns were exceptional, I asked the crew member if they were local and she said Woolies - I doubt it but amazing if they were. We asked for a drinks list and wines were listed as sav blanc, chardonay etc, no brands listed at all and after drinking a sav blanc I think it was probably cask! Surely this 5 star cruise would be supporting local or at least well known wines. The website promised a commentary about the flora and fauna of the area along with pointing out places of interest but once the crew had us boarded and gave us safety instructions that was it, no info at all. Although we enjoyed our cruise it could have been a whole lot better with some interaction from the crew. When we boarded a crew member checked my name against the passenger list and exclaimed ‘amazing’! Surely me knowing my own name isn’t worthy of such praise - should have known from that point that this crew member wasn’t very professional and did the minimum required.
Do not book here - they can cancel you just the afternoon before leaving you stranded.

1.00We booked this trip specifically to sail out onto the reef. We drove up from the Sunshine Coast just for this trip - 1,000 kms. They cancelled on us the afternoon before when we were three hours out from Airlie, saying there were not enough people booked to make it worthwhile for them. "Due to very low numbers, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow's tour". They offered us an 'upgrade' to their jet boat. Sounded horrible. We got into Airlie at 5:30pm and could not get booked on anything else the next day as it was so late. Our trip for two days to the Whitsundays was ruined because these people refused to honor their sale. They would have known a few days before that it was low numbers and could have told us then. We could have arranged something else. Instead we ended up stuck in Airlie Beach for the day and never got out on the water. To add insult to injury, we then saw them coming into the harbour that night after doing a sunset sail.

1.00Didn’t get to do it as I accidentally put wrong month witch anyone can do they would not change to proper month or give me my $200 back so with a slip of a finger it cost me $200 would never use Viator again was no help at all talking to the ACCCa because this is a joke I’m 64 and stuffed up and got no help
