A very Small-Group tour departing from Milan Central station for the transfer, either by train or by minibus, to Lake Como where we take a short walk in the charming village of Varenna and adjacent area. Afterwards we experience a 15 minutes public ferry boat cruise for another perspective of this landscapes beauty!

Getting back in our minivan we drive along a panoramic section of the lake shore with spectacular view heading toward a restaurant possibly where they serve some local dishes (on your own expenses, average € 30 per person) and after that we explore the nearby off-the-beaten-path region nestled in the breathtaking Alps mountains where sometimes we are able to do a short visit of a small local farmer or producer.

Finally we will drive along another section of the Lake and at some point we take the train for the return to Milan Central station.

Such a great tour! Luca is very knowledgeable and took us to lots of different places, including some quieter and less visited towns. We were also able to try some amazing local food and wine. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to see parts of Lake Como less accessible without a car and who like a more personalised experience in a smaller group with a great local guide.

When my friends and I decided to spend a day in Lake Como, we didn’t realize it would be the best part of our trip in Italy! We loved every moment of our day. We met our tour leader, Silvia, on the train before we arrived, and she guided us through the area the entire day. With the help of Luca, Silvia taught us so much about this extraordinary lake. Luca and Silvia are both so excited and passionate about teaching others about their homeland. We were fortunate enough to have our tour one on one with Silvia and Luca. We visited a local farm and walked around while learning about the making of their cheese. We then had to buy some cheese of course :) This tour was so much more than the price point. For us five college students, we are so grateful for their patience and enthusiasm. They taught us so much. We will remember this day for the rest of our lives. So of course, we will rush back to Lake Como just to visit Silvia and Luca again!

Lovely day spent with a great tour guide. Everything was planned very well. From start to finish. Our tour guide Luca was very friendly, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Had a great time!

Our trip to Lake Como with Luca was perfect. We met Daniel in Milan and enjoyed a scenic train ride before meeting Luca for an amazing afternoon on the Lake! Highlights included stops in beautiful cities, a dairy farm visit, a picturesque lunch, and a sunset ferry ride to Bellagio. Luca's attention to detail, such as avoiding train station crowds, made the experience exceptional. This tour was the highlight of our 14-day trip to Italy and Paris.

OUTSTANDING!!!! This turned out to be a full service tour for us. Luca had someone standing by at our train station in Milan who not only helped us get on the correct train, but also boarded with us to keep us company until just before the train left. She even had us take a picture of the upcoming list of stations to be sure we would exit the train at the proper stop. Once arriving at our designated stop, Luca was right there at the door to our train car to be sure we didn't go astray. My wife and I ended up being the only ones on this tour so our "small group" became a private tour. Luca drove us all around Lake Como and the surrounding areas allowing us walk around and enjoy the various stops. BY FAR this was one of the best, if not THE best, tour we have ever been on!!! The Lake views are extraordinary and the service by Luca just as good. We will most definitely book more tours with Luca in the future when we are back in this part of Italy. WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!!!! Thanks for a great day, Luca!! We really had a great time!!
