The Loch Lomond tour from Edinburgh has a little of everything that Scotland has to offer, from a leisurely cruise on bonnie Loch Lomond to the mountains of the ‘Highlands in miniature’ and majestic Stirling Castle.
Leaving Edinburgh, we're soon at the Kelpies, the largest equine sculptures in the world.
Our stop in Balloch is a great opportunity to enjoy the views over Loch Lomond to Ben Lomond in the distance. You can learn about the area’s lawless Vikings and feuding clans during an optional loch cruise.
Then it's onwards, further into the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty where Rob Roy MacGregor was celebrated as a hero and an outlaw. There's time for a photo or two and a lunch stop in this area.
We end our day at Stirling Castle where you can step back in time to the lavish days of Scotland’s Renaissance kings and queens.

We wanted to take a moment and share with you our experience for our day tour to Stirling Castle, Cameron was our guide, personal guide if you would as we were the only people on the bus. We had a PERFECT day! He shared historical facts, stories, pointed out many beautiful sites and shared his love of the countryside with us! While we know being only two people on the tour is not the norm, we appreciate that the tour was not cancelled and we were still able to see more of this beautiful country.

Loch Lomond, Stirling Castle & the Kelpies was the 2nd one day tour I booked and we had Cameron for a tour guide. He is pretty new with the company, but man! He loves history of Scotland so he had so much information that we just ate up. Because of him, we found out that my mother in laws family had a castle. We went to Scotland to do a pilgrimage of her family, celebrating her 75th. Cameron made it extra special so thank you to him!!! He was my MILs favorite tour guide, with good reason. I absolutely love this company! They are the absolute best!! You will not regret booking with them!!!

We had an amazing tour with our tour guide - Kyle! He was awesome from start to finish, not only a wealth of knowledge but also super fun and kind. We wish we had him for every tour on our trip! The tour itself was super well planned out, with a perfect mix of stops, and never too long spent in the van at any one time. My personal highlights were the guided tour in Sterling Castle and feeding some highland cows. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone trying to get out of the city and enjoy the “gateway to the highlands” for a day!

We had a great day alone with Gary - only at Sterling Castle I would have liked a little more time. The Kelpies were mega, the boat trip on Loch Lomand absolutely recommended but in 1.5 hours you can not manage to visit Sterling Castle completely. Nevertheless: a successful day all around.

Very interesting and entertaining tour of the Lowlands. The stops are set up so that you never spend too long on the (by the way comfortable and new) bus. Of particular note is the guide Fionn (yes, the name is really spelled that way), who apparently enjoys his job and has entertained us with his refreshing manner, his humour and knowledge and his colourful playlist of Scottish folk and pop.
