Absolutely fantastic. Most importantly, it was our guide Bryan that made all the difference to ensure we get a great experience with stories, information, music and attitude.

Much nicer to travel in a smaller group. Our guide was a great resource for the history, both political and ecological.

Unfortunately our experience turned out to be less than favorable. Time allotment at stops (shorter) and actual stops were different than the tour description. We made no viewing stop in Glen Cove, instead were told we could view at the visitor center. No view there!!!

We booked the Loch Ness & Highlands Tour from Edinburgh with Cruise for four people expecting a scenic, well-paced experience. Instead, the tour was rushed, misleading, and not as described. • The itinerary listed 90 minutes at Fort Augustus plus a 50-minute Loch Ness cruise. In reality, they were combined — we got barely 20 minutes to eat, use the bathroom, or even see the loch before boarding the boat. • Glencoe was just 15 minutes at a wooded visitor center — no view unless you hiked across a creek, which only two of us could do. • The Loch Lomond stop was at a bakery in Callander — nice town, but no loch views, despite what the itinerary implied. • Unscheduled stops at a distillery and roadside “Highland cow” shop felt like kickback stops, not guest-focused experiences. • A fellow passenger was coughing and loudly disruptive all day. We told the guide. Nothing was done. • Viator offered a 10% refund — only after multiple emails — and then refused to consider anything else, even for the second booking in our group. We weren’t looking to nitpick — we just wanted them to own up to a poorly executed tour and make it right. Instead, they stonewalled us and made it clear they don’t value customer satisfaction. We won’t use Viator again and encourage others to be cautious. Their itineraries are misleading, and if something goes wrong, they won’t take responsibility.
