1.00I have booked many guided tours through Viator in the US and recently in Paris. This is the one extremely bad experience where the instructions of finding the tour guide were unclear and insufficient. My son and I missed our tour of the Louvre museum. It was extremely disappointing as we had travelled from the US for his 16th birthday. I called the help number on the confirmation email. It was a local number.the person on the line stated he could not help, he did not have our guide’s contact number, he did not have a phone number for Viator representatives, he could not email me tickets, in short he could not help in any way. Listing that as the help number is misleading in itself. It was impossible to contact anyone at Viator to ask for the tickets as no actual tickets with barcodes were emailed. I have booked with Viator many times and actual tickets with barcodes do get emailed. Had we the tickets the museum staff who were extremely helpful, would have let us in. I bought tickets at double the original price, $298 for the next day, also through Viator. Not only did we waste so much money but also so much of our limited time in Paris. I emailed for a refund of $153 for that day’s tickets and was told I was not eligible as it was my fault, I was a no show! Worst experience ever. Very disappointing. Terrible customer service, the moment you need help you’re on your own.

4.00Overall good experience. A little confusing finding actual tour guide as multiple guides were at the meeting point. Guide was very personable and knowledgeable. Provided details of each stop along the tour, kept a good pace and was very engaging.

1.00The tour operators are not responsive.., you can keep searching them in the sea of tour operators … but you just can locate them. I ll rate them as my worst experience. I have done all my tours through Viator.
It was a bit short and felt like it could have included more.
