We can make the West, East, the center of the island, always in line with your interests.

Come and enjoy a half day (3h/morning) or a full day (6h), without stress in the best company.

Our service will be personalized taking into account the interests and wishes of the customer or the group. If you want to do a tour with more than 6 people, we will try to get it, provided that you are notified in advance.

The most important thing is to promote the best experience possible, whether for just an hour or all day. We will help create unique moments to remember later.

Camara De Lobos

A fishing village with a lot of history and Madeirese tradition. Of the best places to taste the famous "poncha". There's a chance we make a wood wine taste. Very important village at the tourist level, always with a lot of activity throughout the year which is the charm for visitors.

Hello to you all and if you are about to be lucky to go on a trip with Nuno Valente and his exceptional company Classic Madeira tours then you will become another maker of fantastic memories with the most charming, friendly, professional and passionate about Madeira person, tour guide Many years ago we met Nuno and an immediate connection was made and to this day I have the pleasure of calling him a friend. Our latest trip took us southwest of the Island to the delightful Bird Island, family owned business with an amazing variety of birds all very sociable all set in subtropical gardens with numerous fish ponds with pink flamingo and fruit trees. There is a cafe and an amazing shop. Clean facilities and the surrounding countryside is breathtaking. I wholeheartedly recommend it and Nuno will get you there safely and recommend coffee stops and lunch stops, viewpoints and other places to visit and always without the crowds. Having visited Madeira over 26 years we are Ambassadors for Madeira tourism and proud with the title as we Love this Island and of course have visited many, many places but Nuno can still surprise us with new things to see and do. This was our fourth year coming out with Nuno Valente of Classic Madeira Tours. We first met Nuno in May 2022 when we came to Madeira for the Flower Festival. We have had trips every year since. Nuno always personalises his tours. Over the years we have been coming to Madeira we have seen the majority of the island but Nuno always seems to find something we haven’t seen. He finds the best views, the best places to eat and the best poncha bars (my husband’s favourite). We have been as a couple with him, with our son and one year with some quite elderly less mobile relatives with whom he found easier places for them to go, he even hired a different vehicle to take us out that year to make it more comfortable for the elderly couple. This year was with our sister in law as well as our son. Being local to the island he is very knowledgeable and provides a full running commentary every where we go. If there is somewhere specific you wish to visit, ask him, he will try to fit this in if he can. Our days with Nuno are always the highlight of our holidays.

Nuno gave us an outstandingly enjoyable Western Madeira jeep tour. He shared so much knowledge about the island in a professional, courteous & friendly manner. The tour was personalised to include beautiful places that we could stop at, photograph and enjoy in a timely way. Good value for money and a truly memorable experience.

Excellent ! For the second year running we have chosen Nuno for a tailor made personalised trip with my family. Nuno truly cares about his clients which is the most important and he does everything to make each tour extra special. A true gentleman with a vast amount of knowledge about the island with its hidden gems. We are hoping to come back for a third time next year. Very highly recommended !!

Forget get your guide and get your Nuno!! What a lovely gentleman and a fabulous guide for the island. We spent a lovely day with Nuno seeing the amazing coast and landscape and the little villages and communities across the North, West and South. We told Nuno the parts we specifically wanted to see and he then added in other stops and visits along the way which we loved. Even stopped off at a traditional poncho bar (watched the drinks being made) a local coffee bar and a stop for lunch and swim at the volcanic pools. Nunos commentary and conversation along the way was interesting and he took us through a couple of the older tunnels and pointed out where the old routes used to go. We loved every minute and could easily have spent more time if we hadn't been committed to be back at the hotel for an evening meal booking! The following he/we shared pictures and Nuno sent an amazing interactive map that showed the route we had taken. Can't recommend him highly enough. Nuno doesn't work with the guide companies so contact him direct as we did at CLASSIC MADIERA TOURS You will love it! David and Julie Webster

We spent a wonderful afternoon with Nuno on the west side of the island. I had booked a trip as a birthday surprise for my husband and Nuno planned a varied trip for us, where we saw many new places away from the touristy areas. Expert and well-told guide, great places and a few special surprises! As a nice extra, Nuno took photos of us as a souvenir. We will trust Nuno in the future as well.

We had such a brilliant day with Nuno. He was very easy to communicate with prior to booking and after. He's totally flexible and was able to add in additional stops for us. I was concerned about my son feeling travel sick and Nuno made sure we had plenty of breaks and I knew he would have no problem if we needed deviate from our plan. The itinerary for the day was just perfect. On pick up, finding out we hadn't yet been to Funchal he suggested we drive through so we could see a bit of it and get some information. This was a perfect start and allowed us to get our bearings. He knew the best times to get to places so they weren't too busy. The day flowed beautifully. The landscape and climate is forever changing in Madeira from one valley to the next. Having the open top jeep meant we had a full senses experience. Often being able to smell the abundance of flowers and trees as we drove past, feeling the sun and mist on our skin. It was really quite magical. I wouldn't hesitate to book Nuno again for a tour when we are next in Madeira.

Nuno is the absolute BEST tour guide in Madeira! He is the perfect guide companion! Nuno is incredibly knowledgeable about the island of Madeira, providing information about the history and customs, and was even able to offer perfect meal and spa recommendations! The open air vehicle made the tour that much better. Comfortable and fun! We took the West tour and wish we had booked more days with him! He takes photos along the way and shares them with you! Capturing the perfect memories (“moments”). Book him now! Thank you so much, Nuno!!
