I probably don't understand something, but I haven't found anything in this museum that I like. An exhibition with contemporary exhibits on consumption, water problems, ecology, 3D printing... all left me indifferent. There was a wall with tumblers on and off that you could create your own writing or drawing. Half of that wall was occupied by an abominable political slogan. In the halls devoted to the classics, the baroque and so on were somehow empty. Of course, the exhibits were there, and many were beautiful and interesting, but there was so little that was not at all impressive. On the top floor was an exhibition of old Christmas ornaments produced in the Czech Republic. It made me a little nostalgic - some of these toys were there when I was a kid, but I didn't like this style too much when I was a kid. Sorry for the time wasted (including waiting time at the register when we had one person serving about ten minutes)

The MAK is a very good museum, which mostly meets my taste with its focus. From the museum to the shop to the salon Plafon, I always visit everything because everything is so great.

We went to the Mak today. We expected a lot from the Dagobert Peche exhibition. Unfortunately, it was extremely disappointing. At the beginning, when one enters the exhibition, the end of D. Peche's life is described and not the beginning of his life, and the various stations. That means you have to go back and forth unnecessarily. The description of the individual objects are so small and poorly lit and attached far too low, so you have to constantly dislocate and see almost nothing through the poor illumination of the microscopic signs, and at some point you just give up. The chipboard walls also take some getting used to. Maybe you wanted to save, but that's how it's easy wrong. The interesting bad luck objects have the art trade and even on "Willhaben" you can find more beautiful pieces. We recently visited a Matisse exhibition in Mestre, yes in Mestre, and one in Padua, and so one imagines exhibitions, although Matisse in Mestre was also free. Now I can say, unfortunately, it's too bad about the money and the time.

  • Wow. Always impressive!

This museum packs a punch. It always fascinates and presents remarkable exhibits. The displays of art, furniture, ceramics, glass and inventions are exceptional. This museum is also in a monumental building. It should be rated much higher.
