This tour is for your group of up to 4 people exclusively tailored to your taste and occasion. Your group will be traveling in style in a luxury Land Cruiser Prado 4WD vehicle and you will not be stuck on the bus with other people with different tastes and preferences. Our driver/tour guide can take you to any winery of your choice ( subject to availability) and organise your lunch in the winery or restaurant according to your personal taste.
We regularly visit d'Arenberg, Alpha Box and Dice, Samuels Gorge, Hugh Hamilton, Wirra Wirra, Mitollo, Dowie Doole, Olivers Taranga, Yangarra Estate, Serafino, Coriole, etc. Also we would encourage you to taste wines from less known wineries that sell their wines in cellar door exclusively.
We have great relationship with some winemakers and can arrange behind the scenes tour and tasting direct from the barrel ( subject to availability).
All drivers are tour guides with an extensive experience and knowledge about the region.

What To Expect
McLaren Vale
McLaren Vale is a well renowned wine region at Fleurieu Peninsula. Its a warm climate region with predominantly red wines varieties but some white varieties are available as Italian Fiano and Vermentino. Our driver/guide will pick you up from your home address or accomodation at about 9 am. You will be able to visit up to 4 wineries plus have time for delicious lunch made from regional produce. We might include a winery or other venue of your choice but the cost of drinks or tasting fees might not be covered with this deal. Visit to Menz Chocolate Factory and Almond train is optional and free of charge.

Fantastic Bespoke Wine tours with Bob at Saviconnect!

5.00Bob is a fantastic host & went all out to ensure we had a great day - 2 days in fact - we did a bespoke wine tour of the Adelaide Hills region with him on Saturday then followed this up with another bespoke wine tour of the McLaren Vale region on the Monday. We made a few suggestion as there were cellar doors we wanted to visit & Bob added his personal touch to our plans. A few standouts were Hugh Hamilton wines, Samuels Gorge & lunch at Hugo Wines. We did 10 cellar doors over the 2 days with Bob & enjoyed everyone of these cellar doors...we did a group tour to the Barossa with another vendor however we would have gone with Bob at Saviconnect for all 3 days had we known more prior to booking everything.. We would highly recommend Bob & Saviconnect for any wine tours. A big shout out to Bob, a great host!!

5.00At the start of July this year myself and my wife spent our honeymoon in McLaren Vale. On this trip we booked a full day private winery tour with Bob and it was everything that we wanted. This was the second time we have booked with Bob’s company and he never disappoints. We highly recommend booking with Bob if you are looking for a tour with friends or a romantic getaway. With nice looked after vehicles and professional knowledgeable drivers, Saviconnect is the only company we think of when heading to McLaren Vale.

5.00If you want to discover hidden gems in the wine region of MacLaren Vale then Saviconnect is your tour guide. In the lead up to our trip Bob was in constant contact with me to confirm wineries, date and time. On the day Bob was on time and our luxurious tour began. Bob was a wealth of knowledge on the region and the wineries we visited. We were welcomed warmly at all wineries and I believe that was because of Bob being our tour guide, I believe he is well known and respected in this region. Bob arranged a delicious platter (at our own expense) at Shirvington winery and what a platter it was!!! The icing on the cake was we also experienced a barrel tasting at this winery, certainly a highlight for husband being able to walk through and around the barrels. Look no further if you want luxury, experience and a friendly smile Bob is your tour guide!
