It was an ok trip. The guide was really good, informative, knowledgeable, and very easy to understand. The five star hotel was excellent. The bus was relatively old with bad suspension. The tour activities were very touristy and next time I would choose a one day trip.

Linda was a fabulous host and guide for one of our most memorable trips in Vietnam; the 2 Day Trip on the Mekong. This was a fully packed 2 day tour with absolutely loads of things to see and do with very good lunches thrown in. We would find it hard to be critical as our trip went very smoothly and all the visits and events were well organised. The Van Phat Riverside Hotel was also excellent. All-in-all, fully recommended.

This was an interesting and busy introduction to the Delta and South Vietnam. We were collected promptly from our hotel on an air conditioned bus. Our first visit was to the Vinh Trang Pagoda, which had beautiful gardens. Next was a boat trip on the Thien river where we visited a honey farm, (lots of tasting and shopping for products) . Next it was a cocoa establishment (with some singing). We really enjoyed travelling on a smaller rowing boat that seated 4 people- great for photographs as they lent us Vietnam hats. The coconut farm was fun to taste and sample different sweets made fresh coconut. (again, a lot of shopping). We stopped in Phung Dune and enjoyed a set menu, the waitress helped create a spring roll for everyone using freshly cooked fish. One drink was included. We then dove to our hotel in Can Tho -Tan An. Our hotel, ‘Wink’ was a delight! Everything you could want! We did NOT upgrade to a 5star hotel, and I am so glad about that! The next morning we woke up early and went to the river, hopped onto a boat and when up the river to see the floating market. We also had a stop where we had a turn to make a rice pancake, and do more shopping. Back on the boat we did some shopping on the floating market before we went to visit the fresh food market. Our bus took us back to our hotel where we had a marvellous breakfast. We packed up and started driving back to Saigon. We stopped near Dong Hoa Hiep, where we had a bicycle ride around a local village. We then were able to make our own Vietnamese pancakes and sit down to a cooked meal to share. At this place drinks needed to be paid for. We then got back into the bus for the final trip to Saigon. Our driver Mr Kim was great, always helpful even if it was just giving us clean hand wipes! Our guide James was very knowledgeable, attentive and insightful. His command of the English language was strong. We enjoyed hearing his stories and learning about past and present life in his beloved country. Tips, pack a costume in case your hotel has a pool like ours did, carry small notes so you can tip people like the person who rows your boat. Bring cash for any shopping!

Thanks Vietnam Adventure Tours and Linda for a brilliant 2 days. We saw SO many different things that we would not have been able to do on our own in such a short time frame, especially considering how far away the Floating markets are from HCM! Linda is very friendly and provided lots of great information about the different activities and giving us a general insight into Vietnamese daily life. As English speaking tourists it was a luxury to have a guide with great ability to speak English. HIGHLY recommend this as it was lots of fun, small group so could easily enjoy the activities and be comfortable in the bus plus exellent meals and accomodation at a VERY reasonable price for all that was included.

Phil was an amazing tour guide! He looked after us so well, took time to teach us Vietnamese, gave great info about where to go with our free time in can tho. The tour itself was great too- the perfect blend between travel, and activities. The bus was airconditioned, comfortable, plenty of space, and even capacity to recharge your phones on board. We had a fantastic time, thank you Phil!!

We had a great 2 days and 1 night tour. Our tour guide Jo was fabulous. He was knowledgeable, good fun and made us feel really welcome. The itinerary was busy, but all the activities were great fun and both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed everything. We loved the Mekong and the market particularly. All the food was delicious and the whole tour was great value for money!

I joined the 2-day Mekong Delta tour. Overall, the experience was good but not amazing. I really appreciated seeing some of the traditions and the local working processes, but I found that most activities were a bit too short and sometimes felt rushed. What made the trip much better, though, was our guide, Nick. His English was very easy to understand, and he explained everything in detail without ever being overbearing. He really made the tour more engaging and enjoyable, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 3. I would recommend this tour to people who want to get a deeper look into the country’s traditions and daily life. It may not be the most exciting tour, but with a guide like Nick, it becomes a very worthwhile experience.
