Inside the Cathedral, off-the-shoulder and / or low-cut dresses, shorts, miniskirts, and hats are prohibited. if necessary, please note that at Ticket Office 1 - Sala delle Colonne (Piazza Duomo 14 / A) it is always possible to purchase appropriate disposable Kimonos.
It is extremely recommended to wear comfortable shoes. During hot days it is recommended to wear a sun hat.
Due to increased security measures at the Duomo some lines may form. Additionally, strict rules apply to enter the church (no knives, no scissors, no glass bottles, etc.)
The elevator has a maximum capacity of 7 people, so you may encounter a line to get to the roof

5.00Wow wow wow. Yes it was super hot on the roof but our amazing guide Ciara made the experience memorable, enjoyable & we learnt so much. Ciara engaged with everyone & we all had a laugh. Her facts were interesting & even 11 & 14 yr olds enjoyed & remained engaged. The head set to hear the guide was brilliant. The history, grandeur & beauty is beyond expectations. So happy we did this tour & thank you Ciara & Milano

2.00Our group was split up, our tour guide kept talking while about 10 of us were standing where the church guides told us to go. We did the roof top first while the church was going to close soon for a private event. We were not able to go into the church by the time the roof top was over. If we did the church part first we would have been able to go into church. The church is what I wanted to see, the guide knew this was happening and did not change the order.
