Lovely spot! I went with my friend who knew already she didn't want to go on the hike. I really wanted to go but unfortunately my thighs were chafing something awful so I just went straight to the springs. Beware - they are NOT hot, not even warm. There were some warm SPOTS if you swam into the canyon area but we were QUITE chilly. I would have tried to get to Montanejos without the tour group but I didn't want to figure out the transportation. Arturo and Kate were lovely guides and Arturo made us all laugh so much! Make sure to bring TOILET PAPER as the first bathroom stop does not have any!!

The trip was very well planned, with an enthusiastic guide, Arturo. The hike was great, and to my surprise, he even took us on a walk through the most amazing cave. His friendliness, knowledge, and never-ending kindness shone through the entire day. The thermal waters are in such a beautiful location that it’s difficult to describe in words. Thank you for an amazing day out!

The is a challenging. but scenic hike with friendly staff. We saw mountain goats, waterfalls and a cave. The pools were a little chilly, but it is fall.

Our friendly guides took us on a surprisingly rigorous uphill hike and caving adventure before trekking down to the natural pools. Although the pools were warm at best, it was refreshing to swim (especially around the corner!) after working up a sweat! Some lovely wilderness views. 💚

The tour is ok but the pools aren’t really warm! So I don’t think it’s worth going. The water is around 18-20 Celsius so for me it was a disappointment.

"I highly recommend this hike. The uphill sections were a bit challenging, but once we reached higher ground it became much more manageable. The views along the way were absolutely stunning. The swim afterwards was very refreshing. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the coach was very comfortable, making the whole experience even more enjoyable."
