Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Gave us a good amount of time to explore on our own. Monte Alban is beautiful, and I think the church at San Bartolo was fascinating, esp for those interested in the colonial/missionary history of the area

We had an amazing tour that included Monte Albán, Arrazola, Cuilápam and San Bartolo Coyotepec. Our guide, Antonio, was exceptional, knowledgeable and passionate about the history and culture of Oaxaca. He shared a lot of interesting information and always added his personal touch, which made the experience even more special. Throughout the tour he answered all our questions and made sure the whole group was well attended to. I greatly appreciate his dedication and enthusiasm; thanks to him, I am leaving Oaxaca with an even greater interest in his story. I even plan to look for some of the archaeologists and books he recommended. A highly recommended experience!

We did this tour with the Oaxacatours agency, our bilingual guide was very knowledgeable and available, and even took us to visit some typical artisan workshops in the Monte Albán area, which we enjoyed a lot.

Our tour guide Emanuel did an outstanding job, being kind and exited to share all the information he has gathered through his own life, experience and studying. He had every bit of information about every place, every historical name, every historical time. I totally recommend enjoying this tour.

Lovely, informative tour that makes a great day trip from Oaxaca. We left promptly at 8:30 and returned to Oaxaca City a bit after 5 pm. We particularly loved Monte Alban and the pottery demonstration. Lunch was ~300 pesos apiece (buffet + one beer) + Monte Alban/monastery entrances (175 pesos apiece) + tip.

Very complete tour, the guide we had, Jose, was excellent! The visit to Monte Albán was great and it was also worth the view to Culiapam and the ceramic workshop to finish the experience.
