Traveling by private car with Mubus, you will enjoy a higher level of service than bus travelers. Your private driver will pick you up at your hotel on the departure date (8:00am-9:00am as you requested)
Upon you arrive at the Mutianyu Great Wall, A professional English-speaking tour guide will lead you to our Mubus Service Center which you will be introduced how to travel the Great Wall, help you to purchase tickets for you one-on-one, and finally escort you to get on the Great Wall before 20-minute explanation of the functions of the Great Wall Watchtower.
You will have a 3–4-hour walking tour on the Great Wall and then return to our Visitor Center where a buffet and free tea are arranged for you. Short break before your private driver will drive you back to your hotel in Beijing or to the location as you requested before 18:00. The entire trip lasts about 9 hours.

What To Expect
Mutianyu Great Wall
From the meeting point, an air-conditioned tour bus will take your group to Mutianyu, whilst you can sit back and listen to the historical information about the Great Wall that your guide provides. Upon arrival, your tour guide will save you hassle by buying the tickets for you, then drive you to the foot of the Mutianyu Great Wall, instead of making you queue for the shuttle bus. Once you've ascended the Wall, see and climb the impressive defensive watch towers to take in the serene scenery of streams and lush greenery that surround this section of the Great Wall. After climbing the Great Wall, you can come back to the “Mubus Family” to relax. Located in the center of the Mutianyu scenic area, it is a special lounge area only reserved for the Mubus travelers, offering them with a comfortable place to rest, a restaurant with local specialties, beer and coffee. When you have buffet lunch on the viewing platform, you will appreciate a very magnificent scenery by the intersection of the two sections of the Great Wall here, Mutianyu Great Wall and Jiankou Great Wall which’s well-known “steepest Great Wall of China”. This is a memorable place to take photos.

5.00I never ended up getting a guide, so my knowledge of the wall was lacking! But it was nice to explore it at my own pace. The tour company gave me the option of going earlier in the morning, which was a great decision because although there were some people there, it was quiet and do nice to stroll along it! The toboggan down is a lot of fun, just a shame the limit how fast you can go and people in front were slow! Mubus was a good company to go with, because they have their own shop/restaurant in the village at the bottom of the wall and they have a very nice buffet lunch with the ticket, so I would book with them again!

Great day on the Great Wall but misleading tour description

2.00I thoroughly enjoyed spending a full day at the Great Wall. My guide was Jackie and I enjoyed walking on the Wall with him a lot. So then why only 2 stars? I booked the "Thru-Hike Adventure (Challenge)" option, and the description there states "4.5-Hour Guided hike over 20 Towers from unrestored section. Covering West & East Line + Toboggan included". My guide only walked from Tower 14 to Tower 6 with me, so the description turned out to be misleading.
