Visit the iconic three-tired circular building-Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests (Qiniandian) , Imperial Vault of Heaven( Echo Wall) and Circular Mound Altar. The Temple of Heaven is a historic complex of buildings that dates back to the early 15th century during the Ming Dynasty. It was originally used by emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvests. Temple of Heaven was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998 and is considered one of the finest examples of Chinese ritual architecture.

5.00It was amazing I loved it all. We had to substitute do to a closing and it was woth it glad they made the recommendation to see the Buddhist temple, the great wall was a long time coming to finaly be able to see our tour guid had done an excellent job
