Enjoy a flexible, private 8-hour tour to the famous Mutianyu Great Wall with your friendly English-speaking driver during your time in Beijing. The pickup point can be at your hotel, local residence, train station in Beijing or even at the Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK). The Great Wall entrance ticket is included in the price. If you wish to ride the cable car or toboggan on the wall, those would be at your own expense.

What To Expect
Meet your friendly English-speaking driver guide at your hotel or pointed meeting place at 8am (or your own preferred departure time). Then, take a comfortable GL8 van directly to the Mutianyu Great Wall (1.5 to 2-hour driving distance from central Beijing). This section of the Great Wall is famous for its beautiful scenery and original structure and normally with less crowds. Upon arrival, your driver guide will assist you in getting tickets and lead you from the parking location to the wall. After an introduction of the wall, you can hike for a couple of hours on the wall and take some nice photos there. There is also a cable car, chair lift, or toboggan available, which you can take it you'd like (at your own cost). Lunch is not included in the price of this tour, however your guide can recommend some nice places to eat near the Wall, or you can bring your own snack if you like. The whole tour duration is up to 8 hours. After your tour is finished, you will be transferred back to your original meeting point.

5.00Our visit to the Great Wall was perfect thanks to Jimmy who made sure we wasted no time and suggested we go there early. Jimmy’s car is very comfortable and he is driving safely. Jimmy came to pickup on time and once on site he gave us some information about the wall, helped us with tickets and made sure to guide us directly on the wall before leaving us to explore. His English was excellent, and he explained the history of the Great Wall in a clear and engaging way. He suggested we leave earlier to beat the morning traffic and crowds—honestly, the best advice we could’ve received. Jimmy also went the extra mile by helping us pre-book our cable car tickets, saving us the hassle of queuing on the day of the visit. The drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall was safe and comfortable. As I was traveling with my elderly parents, Jimmy was incredibly thoughtful—he guided us to the lift so we could conserve energy for the actual hike. After our hike, he even helped us order lunch at a nearby restaurant, which we greatly appreciated. Relaxed non hurried experience and arranged to meet later at a time to suit. Knowledgeable about the wall and the wall itself is a must see if in Beijing.
